ViksUI

ViksUI is a fully functional UI replacement for WOW and is based around oUF layout. It also have some re-skinning of a few addOns and also VuhDo profile that fit the UI. The unitframe changes based on raidsize. This UI is tweaked for 1920x1080.

For background on panels and border color it's fully changable ingame (Config->Media).

The UI started long time ago as Qulight UI, and have been heavily rewritten by me. So most of the Credit goes to Qulight.

It have been adapted to my needs and wasn’t intended to be released.
I recently tuned the UI for MOP.

Beside MinimapButtonFrame all other addons can be updated. The others have some “MOP hotfixes” added, and will be removed when they run error free.

Addons i also use / Recomend:

Setup:
Extract files and copy the the WTF\Account\AccountName\SavedVariables to your folder.
Ingame first time: “Reset your Chat Window” , type: “/vikschat”, type “/bt” and select Default under profile.
To setup DBM type “/setdbm”. NB! After you installed the addon.

Ingame Settings

Simple Movie Showing the simple basic for firsttimers.

Look through the “/config” for more settings.
The text under the minimap toggles different stuff

Misc Stuff:

Ctrl+Alt+Shift + Mouse click on target/raid frame to set/clear focus.

Inspiration for few things:

Qulight UI for the addon pack thats inspired from Tukz again.
oUF_Karma MOP inspired the Font, Rest/Combat icon.
Tukz for different spec bars in MOP

- Moved Guild Instance Difficulty flag on minimap. (Remove if from minimapbuttonframe if hidden)

Changed small errors from MOP. Buff for shammys, Heal indicator for monks and other reported errors.

Sugest deleting Interface\AddOns\ViksUI folder before extracting due to some files have been removed.

Big changes to raid frames and layouts. Including icons, indicators, debuffs, positions and much more.

Reenabled Cooldownflash, Markbar & RaidUtil
Reenabled Indicators, Auras and Debuffs to raid frames.
Added option to select 2 different Indicators, Auras and Debuffs style.
Added raid frames layout based on size for both type of raidframes.

* Enabled Buff reminder on Raid Frames.
* Fixed Buff/Debuff errors on raid frames for few classes.
* Updated Filger.

* 1-6 - Fixed/changed Anchoring on Tooltip. Added extra xp/rep bar at bottom.

* 1-5 - Added Aurawatch, Debuff display and indicators for tracking spells/hot's on Raid Frames. Reenabled Filger (No spells yet). Fixed XP/Rep Bar. Added option to hide panels.

* 1-4 - Fixed Totem Bar and party/raid frame (style 1)

* 1-3 - Updated for Live Server (5.0.4). Added more options for minimap.

* B1-2 - Added picomenu to minimap and also fixed trackingmenu.

* B1-1 - Big fix: Clean up on code, fixed few errors.

So the black shadow part is not correct. Adding Transparent background option to chatbubbles and skinning option to the Extra button. So i will post the fix for the gfx at that time. The gfx part is so small that most will not spot this.

This happened to me too. Nothing removes it without a full default reset. It occurs with and without Chatter turned on. When you click on it, it opens captured guild chat on my screen in a new window. Extremely annoying. The only way to remove was to reset all settings to the Viks control panel...which lost all of the settings I had changed to fit my resolution and play style. Ouch.

I do looove this look and feel of your design.

Yea, there is some error with the default chat part. Haven't used it myself in so long i have forgotten to place stuff correctly after i deleted old refference.

So there will be a update today that solv/improve Chat / Bags / Nameplates.

Also note that next time ur gona try reseting plz backup ur wtf folder

I play tank as main and never seen any difference from tank vs dps.
No idea what could slow if down. Try disable Nameplates and Threath Bar (Unit Frames -> "Show Threath Bar".

Beside that try to make a screenshoot when ur lagging the most so i can see better what's going on.

Type: /ui
Then move it around how u like. This must be because ur not using the resolution it was created for.

Movster A Defias Bandit Forum posts: 3 File comments: 20 Uploads: 0	Game crash and fatal exception Hi, great UI, I have several level 90 characters and it works great on all but one. When I try to log on my Shaman WoW crashes saying I have a fatal exception. It is definitely ViksUI as I have tried disabling addons. If I enable all addons except ViksUI my Shaman loads but then if I disabled everything else and just try loading ViksUI game crashes. I hope it can be sorted out because A: I love the UI and B: my Shaman is my main. Oops, I have just noticed in the posts below that this issue has been mentioned before. This sounds more like a update needed for Filger. It's not gotten enough love from me lately.

I see there is alot of spells that should be added, so expect update soon on Filger.
Im not gona add anything to oUF, but if you whant to make a addon that adds that just parent it to oUF_Player and if should be fine.

And also making it purely shammy related makes it a puzzle for me atm.
Disable buffs for ur shammy and the UI works fine.
