This is a modified version by humfras for WoW MoP.
It's not fully updated yet (upgraded item level isn't returned for the transmog and flyout menu because those need a ToolTip scan.)

Please use
/dump GetInventoryItemLink('player', INVSLOT_HEAD)
when you've equipped Malevolent Gladiator's Ornamented Headcover and post the item link string.
