WretcluseUI

Version: alpha 0.006
by: Wretcluse [More]

Extract the WretcluseUI folder to your addons folder. WretcluseUI_Buffs is optional and has no config (unless you know some LUA).

Options are located in Game Menu (ESC) > Interface > AddOns tab > WretcluseUI

To change the UI scale, go to Game Menu (ESC) > System > Advanced > UI Scale (slider)

Here is a video, other addons used in the video include Recount, DBM, xCT, and WeakAuras 2 (not included).

I am not a programmer but if you send me a bug I'll definitely put in an effort to fix it. Likewise, any other suggestions are also welcome.

1.The edit box has a texture that is shown that is not there on your screenshots.
2. The stance bar for Druid's clip both into the action bar and the chat edit box.
3. The chat stays in just the left box. Even if i create several chat windows beforehand and then hit "Set Positions" it still doesn't change anything.
4. The Unitframes are a bit further down compared to your video and screenshots.

These issues have been tested on all different types of UI Scales on a 1920x1080 resolution . and with all addons disabled but WretcluseUI and WretcluseUI Buffs.

What I did so far to solve it for myself.

1.Honestly tried my best, but can not get it to move like I want it to..
2. In WretcluseUI_ActionBars.lua I changed the position to "260, 135"
3. I manually moved over one of the chat boxes and positioned it as best I could
4. see 1.
I appreciate your insightful observations.

1. Edit Box Texture.
If it's distracting, which for you I'm assuming it is, the background for the chat input box can be hidden by going to Game Menu (ESC) > Interface > AddOns tab > WretcluseUI > Background for Chat Input Box (Check Box). I may scrap the background texture or leave it for the default UI look. I'm undecided.

2. Stance Bar for Druids.
I've updated the stance bar for druids so it looks a little more central in its location. The over-lapping occurs when you're not max level but I've since put in a fix for that.

3. Chat Window.
The "Set Positions" button will anchor the second created chat box. So in the video "inRange" was the first created chat box, Loot | Misc was the second. Try where the first is docked to the main chat window (with combat log) and second is free, then click "Set Positions".

4. Unit Frame Positions.
The PlayerFrame and TargetFrame look lower due to the fact your XP bar (at low levels) and artifact bar push up on your top action bar (like the default UI does). When you edit the LUA code it is only for the "Set Position" button so you must press the button after saving the changes and /reload.

Hope this helps!

Hi
Like this add nice and clean.
But i had to remove it purely for the scaling.
Turning mu UI scale up or down just makes my whole screen to big and fills it up with things like a great big map which takes up near 1/3 of screen just so i can get the bar to the size i want.
Can this be addressed in any way other then a UI re-scale.

Hey! I used the updated version and it still isn't fixed for me, I included the LUA error this time so hopefully it can help us find the problem:

Hey, appreciate your posting and sorry this is happening for you.

Assuming you have deleted older versions, the "Set Position" button in Options should fix the positions (pretty sure you said you found that).

It may be that you're getting an error and for good reason have LUA error pop-ups disabled. An AddOn called !BugGrabber will capture these hidden pop-ups and an AddOn called BugSack will allow you to copy/paste the error with a button on your mini-map.

I'm not a programmer but in replying with a paste of an error one can more accurately tell me what might be wrong.

Thanks!
