Sianos UI - 1920 x 1080

Version: WotLK 3.3.5a
by: Doomelf [More]

After so many years of playing WoW I am proud to present the latest evolution of my UI. I main hunter and have found this to be the ideal setup for me, but also use it on all my other characters as well.

- Go to your WoW folder.

- Backup your old Interface and WTF folders, then delete them.

- Unzip Sianos UI into your WoW folder.

- Rename the folders to match your Realm, Server and Character names.

- Copy your old config.wtf and bindings-cache.wtf files to their respective directories.

- Log into your server and set all addon profiles to Default.

Additional Information:

- Addon memory usage is ~ 27-28 MB.

- If you cannot see an addon ingame search for it online and you will find the command to open its settings. Addons without profiles are already set up and need no additional configuration from you.

- Addons such as idTip, Bagnon Facade and others that have no 3.3.5a versions can still be used by enabling "Load out of date AddOns" on your character screen. Alternatively:

* Go to an addon folder and open its .toc file with a text editor like Notepad. Replace the number after "## Interface:" with 30300, which is the one notifying WoW that your addon is "up to date" and so you do not need to check "Load out of date AddOns" anymore by doing this.

* Note that if an addon does not load it is, because WoW simply rejects its code. I use the most recent version of addons from Cataclysm to avoid this. Typically, this is up to 4.0.1, but you can experiment further if you need.

Known Issues:

Carbonite doesn't save the location of its minimap and quest tracker even with the settings in your WTF folder. You will have to set them up yourself on each of your characters manually.

Alternatively, use a different minimap addon. I recommend MiniMapster. It is a simple addon and I've been using it for years with full satisfaction.

Version 2.0

The annoyances are fixed now. In the following release I will be updating DXE's other encounter settings, because at this time only ICC is set up.

Of course, you guys have your own preferences for the boss mod, but I will do it anyway. makes it easier for me as well if I wanna download my settings from here.

Version 1.0

Thought I had everything figured out, but turns out there were some annoyances with Carbonite and Tidy Plates: Threat Plates so I am gonna fix those and reupload the files.

In this version Carbonite's minimap was popping in and out after landing an attack on an enemy, while Tidy Plates: Threat Plates still had threat colors on and every time you made an attack the enemy nameplates would glow white. Sorry for not noticing this before the upload.
