Updated for WoW version 2.0.3 as of 11 January 07.
In short, CT_RaidAssist reports hp, mana, buffs, and debuffs of anyone or everyone in your raid. You can set it to notify when someone is debuffed with specified types as well as notify when buffs you can recast fade. We've added 5 'MT Target' options which allow you to specify up to 5 MainTanks's which users can then select which 1-5 they want to show. When shown, it will show you the target of the person set as MT. It's a bit similar to EQ's Target's Target function though with this, the tank doesn't even have to be your target. We've set it to allow key binding for recasts on notification, so it will say 'player' has been debuffed by 'debuff name', press 'key' to cure. It queues debuffs so you can press the same key x times and cure x people.
You can sort the groups by group, class, or custom sort, and show as many or as few groups as you like. Each group is movable and colors are customizable so you can customize it to your liking. Another addition is the ability to use /rs alerts, which send an on screen alert to everyone using the mod. '/rs Move to me!' would show: 'TS: Move to me!' in user-specified color in the middle of the screen for example. The best way to fully see what it's capable of is to actually see it in use.
We'd like to thank all of the guilds who helped us test the mod out over the past week, and we hope everyone finds this mod useful.
Originally posted by Sapphirius OK, a seemingly vain and minor issue, but it's driving me nuts. The RA button for RaidAssist is covering the button for my Find Minerals, etc. I've tried every manner of clicking and dragging, combinations of shift + click, ctrl, alt, etc. I can't move the RA button on my minimap, nor can I find any options other than simply hiding the button (which I don't want to do). How do I move the RA button? Or is that possible at this point?
Isn't there a slider in the Misc Options that allows you to move the Raid Button around the minimap?! I can't remember i usually just turn my minimap button off.
check in the options windows, im sure theres a slider to adjust it
For some reason Bug Sack has been catching all kinds of errors from this mod for me recently. Even when I am using new lvl 10 toons. I have disabled it for now, but, I may reload it to get the error messages and post them here later.

PTR bugs I have encountered. I also use ctmods party buffs, with ct raid on I can no longer see my partys buffs. This happens on both live and PTR. On the PTR when in WSG, whenever I entered combat character portraits disapeared with ct raid enabled. When I clicked on an freindly, or enemy player the portrait shows fine next to mine, so I can see their hps, and mana etc, but when I enter combat I lose portraits, both for enemy players, and my own team, even hitting F1 will not show my portrait.
CT_Raid sort does not work like it used to. I had three profiles set up, one for show NO groups, one for SORT by GROUP number and the last one SORT by CLASS.
All I had to do was select the saved profile to switch the sorting of the raid groups, well since 2.0 that can no longer be performed. Even out of combat the labels on the groups change between group number and class, but the individuals within them do not change/sort like they are used to.
The sorting can be performed manually throught the "General Settings" options, but when the profile is saved, it bleeds/changes the other saved profiles.
hi!
does any one has the same problem i got?
i cant click anyone in the emergency monitor.
i can c their health but cant click them from the monitor window.
CTRA and ACE2 ... for me atleast .. are playing the nice game of - CTra Calls a protected function and Ace2 get's blamed for it.. 100 times every few mins.. lots of lag as CTRA itterated though every raid group and MT windows
please - do not try to "De-Taint" CTRA but instead please just start from scratch like everyone has sugested for just about every mod
<Event Addon Action Blocked> dosn't generate a visable everyday error but you need something to grab it - like bug sack

i get this error when mousing over the CTRaid tab (where friends/guild/raid tabs are): Interface\FrameXML\GameTooltip.lua:120: Usage: SetText("text" [, color])
tracked it down to line 18 of CT_RAOptions.xml

Here's a feature suggestion for you. Although BossMods help it can't do everything out. Everytime we raid, I hear our raid leader assigning targets, healing, etc. Sometime he forgets what he assigned to who and has to check with everyone. Sometime it's just a case of not having a graphic to help you figure it out.
What I'm proposing is a new Raid feature entirely. Raid diagrams. What this would do, when you open the interface, you would see everyone that is in the raid lined up, class by class on the left. On the right, you would several rows. The first row would have the player doing the action, the second row would have the action itself, and the last row would have the target. You could drag the players around in those slots
For exemple
Code:
Kayleigh ------> Heal ------> Grayrage
Cordio ------> Heal ------> Grayrage
Huggals -------> Heal ------> Grayrage
Juelez ------> Heal ------> Jonus
Extreme ------> Pull ------> Grayrage
Enalung ------> Pull ------> Jonus
Grayrage ------> Target ------> Purple Diamond (obviously, Extreme would have the same target since he's pulling for him)
Nooge ------> Assist ------> Jonus
Nooge ------> Decurse ------> Group 2
You get the idea, of course the aski art dosen't even come close to what i envision. For the 3 first healers for exemple, I would rather see a single line pointing to Heal, then one line to Grayrage isntead of 3 different lines. Would clean out the interface a lot.
Theses settings could easily be saved per raid and even per mob which would make this a great tool for assigning job. You could have a button that would then send tells to those peoples and tell them their job. Similar to the RAready command, you could also have a command that verifies if everyone understand his or her job.
It would be great also if you could sort those assignments per target, per action, per player performing the action. If you don't quite understand what I'm trying to do here, feel free to communicate with me. Send me a mail via the forums. I'd even be willing to give a stab at trying to code a little of this after taking a few classes of lua.
