Is anyone else having trouble renaming categories? (See my bug report.)

o Shandris (US): Aargn (tauren hunter), Ayren (blood elf paladin)

Yeah, the title basically says it all, and actually I think it was that way even some time before 3.0, though I cannot remember when I first got irritated by it.

I do /wb browse and get the list of categories, there I can click [Go] at any category to go to it, from there on (in categories and in books, that is), I have to turn the page before any of the links/buttons work (and back again to use the links on the first page). Thus, if the list of books in a given category is short, I cannot enter any of the books there, and if I enter a (usable) book, go to the first page of text and back to set/change the category, I cannot, because the list of categories isn't long enough to cover more than a page (nor do I know if it would create more pages or just make the window scrollable, in which case it wouldn't work anyway).

Any way around this? A fix in the works? Is it just me/my setup?

TYVM for this addon, I wish I'd found it sooner. I was always a bookworm even before the WOTLK came out with its achievement system.

Would it be possible to tell BW what my location is while in instances, then at least it could list what books are present with possibly some notes about their location?

Doesn't it already? I'm pretty sure I just used the Ingame feature to save a copy of a letter (as an item) and then when I open the latter Bookworm records it. I've also seen it capture the text on various "Plaques" that are in the game.

I was wondering if this addon can capture letters written by other players or NPC's like father winter ETC? I may just be missing it but if not in the option now, I would love you to consider it a suggestion.

Nevermind, i'm a noob I went into the settings and manually told bookworm to store, and my problem was fixed.

Well, i'm sure that i'm creating cats the same way anyone else does - how many ways to do that exist?

This started after the WOLK patch. Any books already in cats are unbrowsable (except via /bw all), and one can't add (or change for old books) new books to any cats (old cats or newly created). I am using the ruRU client, if that matters.

PS: also tried resetting the settings by removing the WTF files: everything works until one create a category - nothing can be added to it.

So what about the broken categories?

For some reason, the books i got out of the Scarlet Monastery : Library instance, along with other books don't allow me to click on the number next to them. No errors, but I can't read them.

Hah! Nevermind, logged out then in and it works. Great addon.

Yep, categories are broken. When created, nothing is browsable until they are removed :/
