New version is available at curse.com. For some reason it's not uploaded here. It supports all the new fishing poles and the new lure.

Just for the record, Not much tech to this one, I have acquired the Jeweled Fishing Pole.

To my dismay , It seems that fishing buddy is just not recognizing the new pole as a fishing pole. I cannot use FB to help me with easy casts.

Is there any known fix to this or is it simply one of the new bugs?

Hopefully there's a way to fix this cuz I really love the new pole, But I also love Easy Casts with FB

This addon doesn't work with the jewelled fishing pole. It needs updating to accommodate that new pole.

Can you tell me how to move the STV timer?

Currently the timer is below my action bars. Therefore i cannot reach the anchor.

FYI, looks like the author has stopped updating here and is only updating Curse (though each part had to be broken up) and WoWUI.

Tried to ask to update here, but overnight Curse's comments decided to stop working. *sighs*

pleas add "Jeweled Fishing Pole" in FB

I added a line in the FishingBuddy.lua and fishing lib file for the new pole, using the item number from Thotbott.
Still doesn't recognize it.
What am I missing?

Whoops - as I nosed around a bit, I realized my version of FB was actually quite old ... updating it to the latest has returned the 'skill up line'. (It was there just a week or so ago - one of Blizz's many recent hotfixes must have dithered with something).

That is still there. In the zone info/catch list. Should on the top line.

Aww, just noticed this same thing today ... I know FB does like a million other things, but this was really my favorite part of it. Is there any way to quick-fix something in the Lua maybe? Or am I missing an option right in front of my face?

Mine is also not recognizing the Bone Fishing Pole I got from the dailies.

I found a new fishing pole with the Dalaran fishing dailies named :

Jeweled Fishing Pole .


FB is not allowing me to double click cast it.

Since fish can no longer get away, would it be possible to make it AutoLure after fishing up a trash item? and also not log the trash items in the list.
