I just checked the QuestsFu page, and this is what Kemayo has to say about that error:
Quote:
If you get an error saying something about "set title within registration" it means that one of your other addons is shipping with an old and buggy version of the Tablet library. I can't fix it, but if you comment and let me know which other FuBar addons you're using I can narrow it down and try to get in touch with the other authors.
However, I just checked the Tablet library version in both plugin downloads. The one included with VolumeFu is version 2.0.20834 (newer) than the version in QuestsFu, which is 2.0.19577, so I do not think that it is me who shipped with an old and buggy version of it.
While I can appreciate that the problem goes away when you go back to the previous version of VolumeFu, I really think that the problem lies with another plugin that hasn't been updated in a while. Going by forum posts on wowace.com, this error was an issue that cropped up back in mid-October, and the libraries that I released with the latest version of VolumeFu were the most recent versions as of 12/16/2006, when the zip file was created.
I'm working on some functionality updates, but in the meantime, if running the previous version keeps things running smooth for you, I guess I'd recommend running that one for now. There were no functionality updates between the previous one and the current one. The only change made was to add a couple of new translations (Traditional Chinese, French, Spanish) and update the WoW version number so that it doesn't show as an out of date addon.
I'm sorry I can't be more helpful, but I really don't know what else I can do when the libraries in my plugin are just about as up to date as they can be.

Can you give any additional info... error messages or something? I have the US client, but I have no problems with it and QuestFu together. In fact, nothing functional has changed in VolumeFu in over a month. This update was just to update the .toc version to 20000 so that it wouldn't show up as an out of date addon.
Originally this mod did only control the master volume. Then people made requests that it behave like Titan Volume2 so they could adjust all the values, so I added in that support. Now people want it to behave like Titan Volume!
I am investigating other options for more quickly changing the volume levels... using the mousewheel to control the master volume and making the tooltip clickable so that the levels can be set up/down from the tooltip. I would prefer to keep the mod as FuBar as possible and not turn the tooltip into a slider control, but I will consider it if necessary. Now that I have updated FarmerFu for 2.0 (it was sorely in need of an update), I have more time to make mods to VolumeFu.
As an aside, a better place to make feature requests is the feature requests link, I do not remember to come check the comments thread all the time but if you make feature requests then it notifies me. That is where the suggestion for the mousewheel control came from. Thanks!
Is there anyone that can modify this like the Titan Panel version? Like the previous 2 posters mentioned, all this mod needs is to be able to change the master volume by left clicking.
I agree with feierwehr. I would like the option for it to behave like the Titan volume control. It takes too much time to get to the master volume selector.
This thing is way to complicated. The Titan Plugin does way better. If I want a hotbar with a shortcut to change the volume i do not want to go throug the husle of navigating throug a menu. Could you add a option that this plugin behaves like the Titan Volume thing?
It looks like from the commit messages in the Ace SVN that the AceOO error should be fixed now. Please let me know if there are still any problems with the latest version!
Thanks... I will make a new release once I figure out what I need to do about this AceOO error.
For others, there seems to be a bug in AceOO when you have older/newer versions of a library (this shouldn't cause problems but obviously it is at the moment) and the version I released with the German translations has the latest AceOO out of subversion. I update all my Ace addons out of subversion, so I don't have the error myself because all my versions of AceOO are the same.
If you are having problems, the best thing to do I guess would be to go back to 2.0.7944 for right now. The only changes in 2.0.8169 were the German translations and added some missing libs to the .toc file, but this was mostly for completeness. If you are using FuBar 2.0 (and you should be to use VolumeFu 2.0 anyway ) then you wouldn't have noticed the missing libs from the .toc file.
