FuBar - QuestsFu 
This is a quest-tracker replacement plugin for FuBar. It provides a tooltip which replicates /most/ of the information from the quest log. It can display (or not): quest level, difficulty, objectives, zones, and suchlike. It will put quest information into the tooltips for quest monsters and items. It will make quest levels appear when talking to NPCs.
If other people in your party are using QuestsFu it'll show you how many of each quest objective they've gathered.
If you want it to, and don't think it will annoy people, you can send a message to party chat when you advance a quest objective.
Shift-click on quests in the tooltip to copy the title to the chatbox if it's open.
Control+Shift-click on quests in the tooltip to copy their objectives and status to the chatbox if it's open.
Control-click on quests in the tooltip to share them with your party.
Alt-click on quests in the tooltip to add them to Blizzard's quest-tracker.
QuestsFu includes a replacement for the Blizzard built-in quest tracker, which can track more than 10 quests at a time. Right-click on it to adjust its scale and coloration. (Or alt-right-click if you've locked the tracker.)
Achievements show up in QuestsFu's tracker. Ain't that cool?
Certain thanks must be given to MonkeyQuest, which motivated me to write this by being everything that I wanted in a quest-tracker replacement while annoying me by putting a frame over a quarter of my screen.

LibTourist issue
I had to disable this addon to logon to WoW 4.3. It would cause a hang on the loading screen that could only be stopped by killing the client process. A few other apps like FishingAce also had the same issue. FishingAce was fixed earlier today or last night. I was hoping this could be addressed.  The colors let you quickly glance and get compressed data, rather than interpreting the data. It, and the voices, are the greatest parts of the mod. If only it could handle the 'click this stupid button to complete the quest' and the items-for-quest...oh, if only. |

Getting the following error, and found it's caused by QuestsFu.
1x LibTourist-3.0-90098:3452: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value) Tried to update the lib to the latest release and that just threw more errors about the lack of "The Maelstrom". |

AceComm isn't used any more, so that's an embed I forgot to remove. I'll release a new version without it present shortly. For now, you can just delete the "AceComm-2.0" folder in the addon.

Quest List Window Stuck to Cursor
I was trying to locate an option to hide the quest frame that appears in the center of the U.I. After having right-clicked on it for an options menu, I noticed that the quest frame is now stuck to my cursor. I've tried everything I can think of to remove it. Please help.

I love this addon as well. I like that my wife and I can get the updates for each others quest while grouped without needing to spam party chat. (it showed up as a on screen message and then fades out)
sadly it seems to not be working at the moment and I haven't found another addon that does that function /crossing fingers it gets updated. |
