FarmerFu helps you keep track of items that you are farming, so that you don't need to keep opening your bags and counting your stacks manually.
To add items from your list, use the command line option "/farmerfu add <item>" (/ffu also works in place of /farmerfu) or the FuBar menu text field. "<item>" may be either the item link (only on the command line), the item name (must be in your local cache), or the item id.
2.0.33209 - (2007-04-20)
- Hopefully fixed bug due to items being lost from the local cache
- Added Spanish localization (thanks shiftos!)
2.0.30701 - (2007-03-21)
- Fixed bug with item removal
2.0.29971 - (2007-03-11)
- Removed shift-ctrl click as it did not work with a number of all in one bag mods and it was opening the dressing frame after WoW 2.0.
- Items may now be clicked on in the list to select the watched item (the one in the FuBar text) or alt-click to remove from the list.
- Support for tracking items in the bank in addition to the inventory bags has been added.
- The headers, bag/bank/total columns may all be independently shown/hidden. Also, bank/bag/total may be shown/hidden in the watch text.
- Items with a count of 0 or individual items may be shown/hidden.
- Fixed some profile switching issues.

Would there be anyway to add a Grouping/Folder kind of option? I add a lot to the list to monitor and change targets semi frequently but usually covering same area. For example, Grouping all gems in one area, grouping all Leather in another, and all Ore in a another.
All I can think of is that I once again got bit by issues with an Ace library update when packaging it up for distribution. I am assuming from your other post a few weeks ago that you are running other Ace addons. Please try deleting the lib/AceFoo-2.0 folders in the FarmerFu directory (not all of them... just the Ace ones) and see if that helps things (it should use the Ace libraries from another addon that's already loaded up, not the bleeding edge ones that were included in my distribution).
They are in the midst of updating things for the 2.1.0 patch and it is possible that there's some incompatibility with the latest ones that are included with FarmerFu and what may be included with an older addon that you have.
I downloaded and installed the new 33209, and now my FuBar panels don't show up at all. Nothing. I disabled FarmerFu, and the FuBar panels come back like they were before, except that FarmerFu is mssing, of course. Enable FarmerFu, and all are gone again. There is no error message I can see.
I copied FarmerFu 30701 back to my AddOns folder, and everything once again works like it should.
This is a result of you losing your local cache for some reason (did you login to the PTR?). It's on my todo list to fix. The only way to get rid of it at the moment is to either get someone to link you the items that are on your list so that you have them in your local cache again (or get one of them ) or clear the list out.
I am relatively new to using add-ons, so hopefully I am doing something wrong that is easily fixable.
Farmerfu has become one of my favorite add-ons, except for the fact that it stopped working on my computer a couple days ago. When I log in I get the following error message:
Interface/AddOns/FuBar_FarmerFu/FarmerFu
lua:380: attempt to Compare String with nil
I also get this message every time I do anything that affects mky inventory in any way
I have tried a number of things to identify the problem, including
deleting farmerfu and reinstalling it
disabling all other add-ons (except FuBar 2.0) and running only farmerfu
but I still get the same error
This error started mid week, it was not associated with a patch/software update or any other change that I know of. One day it worked, the next time I logged in that day it didn't. The only thing I can think of that possibly changed was my adding of a number of items to the list of items being tracked (I probably was tracking between 20 and 25 items)
I am trying to use what I believe is the latest version -
FuBar - FarmerFu v2.0 $Revision: 29970 $

Originally posted by Aileen Are you getting any errors when you alt-click to remove? If so, please report them at the bug report link. I'll see if I can reproduce it, but I have not seen any issues up until now with removing.
You can also "hide" the items for now that you are trying to remove instead of clearing the list and re-adding the other ones. The new hide feature can be found in the tooltip menu. Just check off the ones you don't want to appear on the tooltip.

I found a version of AutoBar (r30606) on the wowace.com site that is newer than the released version on wowinterface.com that seems to fix the library problems I was having. Apparently it was not a problem with FarmerFu after all. That's ACE2 for ya!

Using the latest WoWI revision.
Sorry about the removal of the quick click functionality. I got too many complaints and bug reports that either it didn't work (because of all-in-one bag mods either interpreting the clicks on their own or blocking the clicks) or it did something unexpected (opened the dressing room window due to the ctrl part of the click). A while ago there was a suggestion to allow items to be dragged and dropped onto the FuBar plugin as a means of "quick add" and I still intend to see if that is feasible. Please note that you can use /ffu instead of /farmerfu (save a few keystrokes) and also you don't need to link the item if it's in your local cache. You can just type the name out (even uncapitalized).

Please post what errors you are getting. I cannot track them down if I don't know what they are. Also, reporting them at the bug reports link is a better way to get my attention that there is a problem.
You are using the default profile if the items you add on one character appear on the others. If you wish the item lists to be separate, switch it to use the character profile or create some other custom profiles. FarmerFu uses the built in profile functionality of FuBar/Ace.
