Sorry, there are currently no optional files available.
Originally posted by Jexx The version on the Github, no text is displayed when I hover over herb nodes on my minimap. The same thing for hovering over the Blue Arrow that shows nearby cities, no text is displayed.
But notes and waypoints I've created from TomTom and Handynotes, the text does show up when I hover over them.
The Squeenix version on here seems to work fine though, just thought I would mention it in case you weren't aware of it.
This bug is somewhat still happening. I've noticed the ability to hover over quest givers, towns/cities, herb nodes, etc sometimes the text is not displayed. I have to re-log and it seems to fix the problem, reloadui won't do it.
I'm not sure what would be causing this, but as stated above, waypoints and gathermate mouse over info is always displayed, even if the cities/quest giver text is not.
Originally posted by Tekkub The reason I asked was because in Windows, Windowed + Maximized lets you switch out quickly. At least on the windows side, I see no valid reason to ever use "Full Screen".
I wassn't aware that Macies were not able to use this... damn hippies.
Don't knock it unless you've tried it!!
Macs allow maximised window with command M to switch between screen sized window and small window. More to the point if you assign WoW to a particular space and leave your browser on a different space just use ctrl arrow to 'slide' between the spaces, no minimising necessary. I usually have Camino up on one, wow on another and vent on a third.
I wasn't aware microsoft clones were not able to do this, damn neanderthals
Btw love you work tekkub .... regardless of what you write it on :P

Is there a way to bring up the tracking menu while the button is hidden? It'll be great for example right clicking the map causes the tracking menu to popup while left click does the usual map ping.
I just realized that I'd overwritten this download with some old ver. cached in WAU. Might be a good idea to remove that thing if you're not going to maintain that wowace repo anymore. Its a popular addon, and most people are not going to think of adding a .svn folder (much less know how to make one in Windows) to keep WAU from overwriting the current stuff.
Also, the links for info and comments on the Addon Info page are dead, well your WOWI portal is disabled, and there is no page for wiki.wowace. Now that I think about it, I didn't see Squeenix listed on your tekkub.net site.
Is there a way to move the default icons around the map (tracking, mail, bg queue etc.)? I'm pretty sure the answer is obvious, but I just can't get those things to move.
Originally posted by ultimo Hi Tekkub,
I really like your mod, but I have a little problem:
I use empty chat windows as background for my bars (Bartender3) and the minimap.
So I tried to put the minimap over one of this chat windows, but it disappers under it.
Is there a possibilty to raise the minimap layer (or lower the chat window's)?
Use Zomgbox. It very closely mimics the color scheme of the default chat background.
I personally use EEpanel at the moment. There is a host of others out there, viewport mods that is.

Originally posted by peterjhill (not original poster, but why I do) because sometimes I want to play the game full screen, and other times I want to be able to pull up a web browser.. for example, while flying from moonglade to Feralas. While waiting for a BG to queue.. I like to play full screen... but I probably switch three or four times in a play session between the two modes.. On a mac, I just use Command-M to switch.

The real question is, why are you changing between windowed and fullscreen enough for this to be a problem... that should be a one-time setting :P

Interesting.
Macintosh client has Windowed and Maximized as well - both checkboxes.
• With neither checked it goes into a non-switchable fullscreen mode.
• With just Windowed checked it does what you'd expect - put WoW in a normal window.
• With both checked it reverts to the fullscreen non-switchable mode.
While in windowed mode cmd-Tab works just fine to bring other programs windows to the front, but not in either of the other two 'modes'.
I guess it's more of an issue for the Blizzard folks - I'll quit wasting your bandwidth.
Thanks for telling me about /squeenix reload.
