well, GuildRoster() will ask the server for an update on the guild, including position of guild mates. When the data is thenm recived by the client it will raise a GUILD_UPDATE. This can take even a few seconds worst case...
If I would only call it OnShow(), the data wouldn't be available, yet. So old data would be shown.

I was looking at your code and found that you setup a repeating scheduled event to call GuildRoster() every 15 secs. I was curious on your reasoning behind that.

Would it not be easier to refresh the guild info when the GUILD_UPDATE is called by people logging in? And then if you feel the need, to do it on mouse-over or OnShow of the tooltip?

My concern is for other people who hook GUILD_UPDATE, it's being called every 15 secs as well as every time someone logs in, for large guilds, that can cause a stack of performance problems for multiple addons doing work so many time. If you have a specific design decision behind it, that's great, I'm just curious on what that is.

I noticed that this mod and FriendsFu is incompatible. Ive found links to updated versions of MailFu which also was incompatible. Is there a link or something for friends and guildfu? I love fubar, I recommend it to others and actually got a few people off of Titan panel. But FriendsFu and GuildFu are in my opinion, are a must. Please help us all. Thanks.

That request would rather have to go to the FuBar addon than to thisone as it's a "transperency per plugin" request.

when i attatch to my bottom panel in fubar it would be nice to have a feature to change the transparency of the tooltips without changing my global transparency settings. its kinda hard to read sometimes. it may have the feature already but i couldnt find it, if it did i am sorry to bother you. nice mod by the way, finding more fubar mods all the time that really do make it easier. thanks

Adding controls to allow:

-Modify Guild MOTD
-Open Member Info Window
-Pretty much all of the features in the built in guild control would be nice

PLEASE update this, this and FriendsFu (same author) are what's keeping me from staying with FuBar.. Titan's works fine, this one says 'Incompatible' in the Add-On selection screen.

I am getting the same error as Ekimmike on login

Also I get an error message when trying to Alt + click on guild members to send them party invites. This causes the drop-down window to freeze open, and the only way I've been able to reset is logging out and back in

Cannot register library "Ace Event - 2.0". It is part of the global table in _G["AceEvent"]
