This is the collection of addons that I use every day when I play World of Warcraft. Some of these addons are still "beta" versions while others are solid "released" versions. If I have included the addon in this compilation it is because I have not run into any noticable issue with the addon. Full credit for these libraries should go to their respective authors whom I am very grateful for. The addon community for this game has really produced some amazing stuff.
I recommend using the WinAceUpdater tool to keep the Ace addons in this compilation up to date. You can get information about the tool and a download link from the wiki page on the wowace.com website. If you are feint of heart, this may not be for you as it will keep your Ace addons on the bleeding edge of mainline development on the Ace addons installed which can sometimes be really really bloody and non-functional. If you are going to use WinAceUpdater please take a moment to get familiar with the files.wowace.com webpage so you know how to download an older revision if something you use happens to break after it is updated. I update the Ace addons included in this compilation with WinAceUpdater then attempt to verify that all are functional before I upload an updated file here. I also probably update my Ace addons daily truth be told. As I said, I am an addict!
Also I contributed to the development of the Prat addon in this collection. For more information about Prat visit the wiki page.
[Frameworks and Embedded Libraries]
Most of the addons in this compilation were developed with a framework such as Ace2, Dongle, Rock or Ace3. In addition most of these addons make use of non-framework libraries to enable useful functionality without having to duplicate that code in their own addon. None of this really matters as a user however I wanted to mention that any library (framework or not) that is used by these addons are embedded meaning you wont need to worry about them.
Above anything else the addons in this compilation appear here because I like the features they add to my UI, not because of what framework or libaries they use. Well written and useful addons are the constant driving force in the evolution of this compilation. I use it and find it enjoyable. I hope you do too!

[Addons Configuration]
Trying to explain how I have all of these addons configured seems like an exercise in futility since I am practically always in a state of flux. What I can tell you is that I have a philosophy for what I am trying to do with my UI and that might help explain why I have things configured as I do.
The goal I have for my UI is to give myself a letterbox looking viewport into the game's world and put as much of the UI controls and information outside of that viewport as possible. Inside the viewport I try to put visual information that will allow me to concentrate on what is happening around me without having to constantly move my eyes for info. I like that look and it feels very clean when I am playing that way.
I recommend downloading Curney's UI - WTF Folder then customizing to suit your tastes from there.

[Frequently Asked Questions]
Q: Why do you use addons?
A: While the default WoW playing experience is very solid, I really love how extensible Blizzard has made World of Warcraft. I use addons to tailor my play experience to suit my needs. For instance games in the past did not allow for click-casting and neither does the default WoW interface however through the power of LUA, I have click-casting which really takes alot of the repetitive motion out of casting (I don't want to ever get carpal tunnel syndrome from gaming).
Q: Why so many addons?
A: A vast majority of the addons that I use are tiny but do something that I find useful.
Q: If you could only use 13 addons what would they be? (updated for WoW2.4)
A: Clique, Bartender3, PitBull, Skinner, Chinchilla, Prat, CowTip, teksLoot, Butsu, Cartographer, Bagnon, Grid, oRA2, and BigWigs.
Q: What addons do you wish you could replace the most? (updated for WoW2.4)
A: I really wish there was a lighter version of the Discord mods that I use however I love the flexibility and power they bring so I keep using them!
Update: I replaced discord mods with PitBull + Bartender3 + Skinner + Chinchilla + Buffalo + Prat.
Q: What is Ace? What is Rock?
A: Ace and Rock are frameworks used by many authors to build addons. What framework an addon uses should not make a difference. At the end of the day, you should use addons that work best for you.
Q: What are your favorite addon authors?
A: That's an loaded question. You'll see that many of my addons have the same authors.
Q: Do you have any screenshots?
A: Of course... behold!
[Known Issues]
# Justifying text in chat windows makes itemlinks act badly. This is a bug in World of Warcraft, not the addons.

The pieces are there to make an interesting UI that conforms to your specific tastes. I generally like a letterbox look so I used Skinner to make a viewport and display the top and bottom backdrops. Then I sprinkled UI pieces where I felt that made sense for me. You can move almost everything around which is nice.
I just downloaded this MOD and seems really nice. However when I click on the WOW interface button in the options menu the entire UI dissapears and nothing happens. I need to turn off the default WOW action bars and cant figure out how to do it through the MOD
Im also getting many tracker error messages
Any help?
I'm pretty new to this whole mod thing and I cant figure out how to actually load the setting to how you have them. :O Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
Hey. Nice going on the UI - lots of nice stuff there.
I need some help, though. There's a bar with potions and food that I can mouse-over to expand to see all the available stuff in my bag. Be it potions or food. I can't figure out how to unlock it so I can move it. What addon is it part of?
The rest of the interface works a treat.
Edit: It turned out to be PT3 Bar so I switched it off.

I love the look of your UI pretty awesome but as a nub I'm having a hard time setting it up, could you please upload the WTF file it'd help a lot thanks for your effort.
Ok, so I got this a few days ago, have been playing around with it. I've gotten it to work EXACTLY how I want it, btu I am having a few problems / questions.
1. I'm having trouble with my key bindings on Bartender. I set them up, but when I switch to another toon and set up my bindings, all of them are gone when I log back in. I'm sure there is just something I'm doing wrong with Profiling or something like that. It's just kinda a pain to have to rebind my keys every time I log back in
2. I'm pretty much having the same issues with Pitbull. I need to know how I can set up profiles for my Warrior/Rogue/Pally/Shammy/Druid, without having to move my Unit frames every time I log in to one of my characters. I've tried, but I don't think I'm doing something right
The blinking is coming from PitBull_CombatFader module for PitBull which you can disable per unit frame window by telling CombatFader to ignore the unit and then reloading your UI -or- uncheck it from the addons menu off the character select screen. I think the objective of that mod is to have units be faded when they arent in combat but then pop to 100% opacity when they go into combat but right now it keeps fading and going to 100% nonstop. The PitBull unit frames are still in beta, so it's all probably going to be worked out soon. I'll probably be updating the compilation several times over the next few days and weeks just to somewhat keep up enhancements with that mod.
Hiya, I have downloaded your UI and LOVE IT the only problem I am having is the whole unit frames..for some reason it keeps blinking.. was curious as to how I can stop it from blinking, its rather annoying =P Thanks for the help
