OzRaid   Updated less than 3 days ago!   Popular!
OzRaid is a raid/party window 'construction kit', designed to let you build clickable showing health/mana/buffs/debuffs/etc. for raid members and or targetted mobs.

Unlike other mods, this lets you build custom windows depending on what information you need only. For example, a raid leader may want to see the whole raids health status along with the major buffs (AB, Fort, Pink paw, etc.) so they can see at a glance if everyone is buffed & ready. Healers can show certain groups or classes (or the CT/oRA2 Main Tanks) on special big bars that only show current HoTs & debuffs, with the health deficit shown in the new 'Big K' numbers that show you quickly & easily what size heal to use. DPS'ers can make a replacement for the default 'Main Tanks Target' window, which will not only show raid icons (very useful for targetting when the raid leader is shouting 'kill the orange' in a mass of mobs), but also can be customised to show only the debuffs you care about - such as Curse of Elements, Sunders etc.

You can even make non-clickable info windows, for example all the raid members within 30 yards who are in groups 2 & 4 who dont have your class buff. These let you make reminders that will pop up if anyone in your assigned groups requires a rebuff & they are in range. There are too many different combinations to list, so the best thing to do is start with a preset and play with all the options till you work out what you want!

Basically, for each window you can specify the input units (i.e. my party, the raid, targetted mobs, Main Tanks, etc.) and then apply filters (hide based on class, group, etc.) Finally pick the display options that suit you, and which buffs/debuffs you want to see on the bars. Simple!

Fully compatable with Clique & other click-to-cast mods that use Cladhaire's system for registering clickable windows, so I reccomend using these for click-cast decursing & the like!

Frequently Asked Questions:
---------------------------

'I made a window but I cant click on the bars!'
With patch 2.0, Blizzard forces any 'clickable' window to be locked during combat. What this means is the unit ID for a bar cannot change in combat. So, if you have selected any option in the OzRaid options that would require the units to change (i.e. filtering or sorting out people based on range, health status). These options are still there after 2.0 so you can make info windows such as an emergency monitor, but unfortunately this means you cannot click to target or cast.

'So.. isn't it like CT Raid Assist?'
No. All it does is show unit health/mana bars (and raidicons, buffs etc.). It doesnt provide any of the other cool things CT does (like boss warnings, and many more) This addon was written simply to provide a smaller & neater overview of the raid than the CTRaid and Blizzard party frames. But it now does so much more.
It also works in parties & solo as well as raids

Slash Commands
-------------------
/ozraid [n]
/oz [n]
Open/close window [n], if no window specified (orit can't find it) it opens the options instead.

Please read the README in the zip file - much more detail & some tutorial frames!
Any comments, questions - use the Mod Thread!

Version notes:
-----------------------------------
v1.70 BETA
Ok, I have made a dual-version so it should work on WotLK beta
NOTE: I havent added any WotLK buffs/debuffs yet cos I dont know what they are

Changes:
Added more options for showing pets. you can now specify pets by class so you can ignore temporary pets like mage/priest ones. Makes it more stable in raid view during combat.

Removed CTRaid readycheck support - too buggy.
Improved Blizzards Readycheck support (just use /readycheck)

More to come, so this is only a beta type build!
please report any errors you find

v1.68
Added an option to disable the cooldown swirly wotsits
Tweaked the Big-K-Nums a bit

v1.67 Another Small bugfix
v1.66 Small bugfix

v1.65 (what happened to 1.64? No idea )
version updated for 2.4
- Cooldown swirlies on buffs YOU have cast
- New number format (reccomended for 'deficit' view) - big K numbers!
- Aggro glow is now a glowy sword icon thingy, much more visible
- Added Earth Shield to the viewable buffs
- heading/name/number font sizes can be set independantly
- Bar padding parameter added (gap between bars)

v1.63
--------------------------
Fixed bug with fadeAlpha not being properly filled in in the configs.

v1.62
---------------------------
Fix a bug with the mini-mana bars & dead people

v1.61
----------------------
Fixed bug with upgrade from OzRaid Continued
Fixed bug with 2.3 patch (Blizz removed a func!)
Fixed some bugs with mana bars appearing
Windows can be set to expand up instead of down
4 different name formats (name + group number)
Variable fade amount for fade-on-range
Option to fade the name out with range too
Tweaked buff/debuff handling
MyParty filter changed to a force it to show, or force it to hide. Try it - it kinda makes more sense.
Please note: This is BETA (i.e. I havent had a chance to trst thoroughly). Please report any issues you find!

v1.59.1
---------
Changed 'MyParty' default to be ON
if you dont want to download this, just go to filters menu & check the 'MyParty' filter at the bottom for any new windows or when you apply a preset

v1.59
----------
(a) Show prayer of mending(?) - the bouncy heal
(b) Allow up to 6 buffs shown
(c) Buff timer tooltips work again (accurate for your own buffs, or read from CTRaid for others)
(d) Dreamless Sleep does NOT show up as a dispellable debuff!
(e) You can Add/Remove windows, so no need to be limited to just 8
(f) Presets work, but theres not many yet - I will be adding more
(g) Pet colour changed to be not exactly the same as druids!
(h) Various bug fixes & tweaks
(i) Healers fade-on-range is now full 40 yards
(j) more sensible default setting.
(k) 'My group' as a filter so you can filter out your group if you track them in a different window
(l) Right-click menu now works fully (so you can assign raid targets/promote/etc. via the bars)
WARNING - Windows positions are RESET with this version (as I have had to change the way they work, but on the plus side I will be able to 'get expand upwards' in very soon)

Good point
To check it is the buff timers, try removing this section:

OzRaidBars.lua, line 732:
Code:
		if(buffPath) then
			if currBar.buffDur[j] and currBar.buffTimes[j] then
				CooldownFrame_SetTimer( currFrame.buffCool[j], GetTime() - (currBar.buffDur[j] - currBar.buffTimes[j]), currBar.buffDur[j], 1 )
--print("Buff: "..buffPath.." Cooldown: ( "..currBar.buffTimes[j].." : "..currBar.buffDur[j].." )")
			else
				currFrame.buffCool[j]:Hide();
			end
		end
Basically just delete this section (or put '--' at the start of each line to comment it out), and that should hide the timers.
I will add an option to show/hide them for the next version

Not yet - you do get the icon of the debuff shown which is usually enough to tell, but it is on my list of things to do (I dont currently habe any customisable color settings but it is on my wishlist)

Fixed in new version (v1.67)
I was forgetting to add default values for the new text sizes I added (they would work if you already used OzRaid but new installs would break the options)

Version 1.66 fixed 1 bug that could cause this.
If not - check 'OzOptions' is enabled in the addons list, otherwise if you can find an error message please post it here

Since Burning Crusade (interface 2.0) you cant have clickable bars that change the unit based on range any more - essentially once combat starts, the unit assignments on the bars gets 'frozen' & Blizzard block any attempt to change them. This was done to stop emergency monitors, but also stops range only ones - addons are not allowed to change the unit, move, hide, etc.

The only way to do it these days is by using the fade on range on your normal raid bars - you can use the slider & the 'fade name' so that people who are too far away from you are almost transparent so you can tell at a glance who is healable. Not perfect but all we are allowed these days

I think it uses the boolean function UnitIsVisible("unit") and perhaps it become false over 100 yards.

It is on my to-do list to get a list of basic spells that have various ranges & use them to give you a slider - sadly I cant make range testing any more accurate than that though as Blizz dont allow you to accurately measure distances to units
