What is Atlasloot

AtlasLoot Enhanced is an UI mod allowing for loot tables of bosses to be browsed whenever needed within the game.

Features
  • Dressing Room: Control-click items to show them in the Dressing Room.
  • Price Preview: See the prices for token items like PvP rewards.
  • Filter: Filter loot tables based on your class or set up your filter manually (NYI).
  • Instance Loot: All instance loot from every Dungeon (Normal and Heroic) and Raid.
  • Faction and PvP rewards.
  • Collection Items: Armor Sets (Dungeon, Tier and Crafted), Mounts, Companians, Tabards, Legendary items and more.
  • Season and World Events: Skettis, Abyssal Council, Ethereum Prison, Feast of Winter Veil, Hallow's End, Brewfest, etc.
  • Wishlist (NYI): Alt-click on any item to add it to the wishlist, alt-clicking on an item in the wishlist deletes it. There are buttons added to the Atlas panel and the loot browser to open the wishlist.
  • Partial Searching (NYI): Allows searching the whole AtlasLoot database for an item where you only know part of the name.
  • Quicklooks (NYI): Bind up to ten loot tables to 'Quicklook' buttons, allowing you to jump to them with only one click.

Slash Commands
  • '/al' or '/atlasloot' by itself brings up the loot browser.
  • '/atlasloot options' brings up the options menu.
  • '/atlasloot reset' resets the last viewed loot table (fixes disconnects when opening AtlasLoot) and moves all draggable frames back to the middle of the screen.
  • '/atlasloot mmb' toggles the minimap button on / off.
  • '/atlasloot togglebg' toggles background pictures on / off.
  • '/atlasloot wishlist' opens the Wishlist frame. (NYI)

History

AtlasLoot was originally created by Pernicius as a plugin for Atlas and contained a handful of raid loot tables to browse. Unfortunately, Pernicius was unable to maintain the mod, so Daviesh took over and renamed it to AtlasLoot Enhanced to provide a distinction between the two versions. Since that time, AtlasLoot has grown to cover every loot table for every boss, every item set, PvP Items and items for every reputation faction. In January 2010 Hegarol took over the project from Daviesh. Finally, in 2014/2015 Lag completely rewrote the entire addon for AtlasLoot v8.

UI is fine

I disagree with the other posters about the UI. I think it looks fine. The layout is definitely easier to navigate. Maybe the skin is ugly, but that can be fixed.

Now, about those wishlists............

god awful ui

what the hell did u do to AtlasLoot?!?! this was one of the only addons i ALWAYS used, shame im gonna have to ditch it now, its incredibly ugly, i can't use this crap

if it ain't broke dont fix it, revert this back to the original Atlasloot UI and just add expansions as previous, dont change the whole thing to this unusable garbage, whoever changed this UI needs removing from any kind of graphical projects whatsoever..

MASSIVE screw up.

Maybe it's just that I'm too used to the old Atlas Loot. Oh well. :/

I have the current version of it. I could see everything through a WoD, but since 2 weeks everything is only visible to MoP. Have Atlas away and installed again but it changes nothing to it.

Fixed for the bug family for next beta. For twin Emperors this does not really matter. ^^

Was in AQ40 today, and was very disappointed by the new AL layout. Beside missing borders, it doesn't tell, what boss drop what. (Namely: Twin emperors, bug family.)
Had to head over to wowhead to ventilate this question.

This is what bothers me because it shifts out of focus what I really want to look at, i.e. the set's look and, ideally, where the invidual pieces are obtained from.
I'm also not happy that it has to be in an extra window, but I guess that can't be done differently if you want to show a preview of the armor as well.
Maybe it's just that I'm too used to the old Atlas Loot. Oh well. :/
You are right, perhaps the stats take too much of the screen, but it also shows the sources for the items.
If you want a quick preview, you can just hover the set buttons in the main window before clicking the set to open the extra window.
