ATSW is a complete replacement for Blizzards tradeskill window with more overview and special functions.
This replacement (works for all tradeskills, including enchanting!) provides you with:
- a better overview
The ATSW is bigger than the standard window, resulting in a much better overview over the thousands of items you can produce. Additionally, it lets you sort your recipes either by groups (as in the standard window), alphabetically or by difficulty. Alternatively, ATSW even lets you create your own groups and sort the recipes the way you like!
ATSW also has a filter function: enter something into the filter line and ATSW hides all recipes that don't contain the text you entered. But this filter function can do more: it's a powerful search function that can filter for minimum/maximum level requirements, producable item counts, item rarity (color) and reagents necessary. Check out the readme for details on using this function!
- more comfort
The ATSW has a production queue: you can queue several different items and have them all produced automatically by just clicking one button.
The ATSW is able to consider items you have to produce in order to use them as reagents in the production of other items. So: if you need item A to produce item B, you don't have to manually produce first item A, then item B. The ATSW does that for you: you just tell it to produce item B and it automatically queues the production of item A and - afterwards - item B. If you are missing some reagents to produce both items you get a message telling you exactly which reagents you need.
ATSW helps you telling your friends what reagents you need for a specific item: just click on a recipe with your shift-key pressed and the chat line opened and the reagent info will be added to the chat line.
ATSW shows you what reagents you need to process the whole production queue. It even tells you how many of each reagent you have in your bank, on alternative characters on the same server (in this case, it can even tell you on which characters) and which reagents are buyable from merchants. In case of buyable reagents ATSW can automatically buy all missing and available items from a merchant when you are speaking to him.
ATSW explicitly supports ArmorCraft, LS3D craft info and Fizzwidgets ReagentCost. Other addons that change the original tradeskill window will probably not work with ATSW.

List not sorted by difficulty and tooltip lacks info
Sorting options do not sort gray items.
Its a pain making sure I have the highest enchant for a particular lower level item. I use tradeskill for guildies and friends of all levels.
Its as if the author thinks lower level items are no longer of any use so don't sort them.
For example. Sorted by difficulty, all green and higher enchants are at the top sorted properly, but below, they are out of order. 2h Weapon Lesser Impact shows as more difficult than 2h Weapon Impact.
I've used Skillet too and the sorting algorithm has the same issue. Because of Blizzard? I hope it can be fixed.
Also, finding the right one would be much easier if the final-product tooltip were displayed in the main list, instead of just the reagent tip. I was hoping this would be better than Skillet, but its exactly the same, eerily so. Same almost-greatness.
Everything seemed fine with ATSW till 2.4, now whenever I use ATSW to craft/enchant something my FPS will drop down to 2-3. It normally runs about 30-40 in busy places like Shat/IF. I have disabled all of my addons with the exception of ATSW/ATSW Levels and it still slows down.
Does anybody have a possible solution I love ATSW, but if I can not fix the problem, then I will have to find an alternative.
Unlike an earlier version I used of ATSW, where all the LW-ing stuff was set up into "correct" categories. There is an issue with the new ATSW, for leather armour, and leather that you make into rugged hide, heavy leather, etc, both have leather as their headings, so if you keep one open and close the window, and then reopen it, it opens both "leather" categories. I'm not sure what they both used to be called, but when you have a huge amount of recipes, it's just a little inconvenient to click close each time on the leather armor section each time. For the mean time, I've just used the "Custom Sorting" option.
I'd edit the files myself for LW-ing so the two categories are distinct, but I wouldn't know what to change.
Add a filter to show only what you have the Mats to make.
Noticed that quanty that can be made does not seem to update correctly all the time. Maybe add a refresh command upon opening.

I have the same problems with ATSW.
I looks like there is an update just now.
But when downloading it it still is the 6.9 version.
I hope this is a 'mistake' and that soon there will come a 'real' update

This on top of previus memory issues (increaseing memory by 2mb each time any proffesion window was opened, and not releasing that memory back properly) is making it unusable now.
