RABuffs makes buffing and raid status monitoring easy by displaying information that you are interested in in a compact window. Each watched aspect is represented with a status bar, capable of displaying three different segments - typically divided into buffed, fading soon and expired buffs.
RABuffs helps you buff. Clicking on a bar out of combat automatically picks the right rank of a spell (including group- and class-wide buffs) and casts it on needy group member(s), greatly simplifying the process of buffing the groups assigned to you. Segments of status bars also begin to flash as the buff you're watching is about to expire, warning you in advance of a needed rebuff.
RABuffs is customizable. Queries are not limited to simply checking for buffs - you can also monitor the raid's health and mana, PvP tags, location, cooldowns on various spells, point out who isn't wearing their Onyxia Scale Cloak on a Nefarian raid, and much, much more. You can even create custom queries to watch for buffs and debuffs not included by default. You may also narrow down the group of people a status bar checks - anything from "everyone" to "groups 1-3" to "shamans, druids and warlocks" to "shamans in groups 1-3 and Alice but not Bob" is possible using the easy-to-use Layout configuration interface.
Use /rab to show/hide the RABuffs window while out of combat and /rab config to display the configuration dialog.
Advanced Features
Holding down SHIFT while hovering over a bar inverts the information displayed in the tooltip; holding down ALT forces RABuffs to use a different kind of spell to buff (single vs group/class versions).
Clicking the Alive bar out of combat will attempt to res a nearby dead group member (if they have not released).
RABuffs generates text output for its queries. You can CTRL+Click on a bar to send a message to a customizable chat channel notifying people of the information the bar is displaying to you.
You can view the results of queries not present in your RABuffs window by using the /rq slash command (typing /rq brings up short help for the command). It can also be used to send the query result message to a chat channel of your choice.
RABuffs transforms queries typed in [square brackets] in chat to query links, allowing you to easily share assignments with your group. If you send a message containing [motw 123], RABuffs will transform it into a clickable link that'll let people add a Mark of the Wild status bar monitoring groups 1-3 to their RABuffs window.
RABuffs shares spell cooldown data with your group. You may also use RALight to share the same information. RALight requires no configuration and uses little resources, making it ideal for group members who want to share their spell cooldowns but do not wish to run RABuffs.
You can customize the appearance of the RABuffs interface using libSharedMedia (typically bundled with other addons; see also SharedMedia for additional textures). It is generally worthwhile checking RABuffs configuration to adjust the settings to match your preferences.

Optional Files - RABuffs
Sorry, there are currently no optional files available.
This actually turned me off from it before in BC, but I get an error about "Cannot declare closure factories from insecure code" at like 758 in Interface\FrameXML\RestrictedExecution.lua
This happens when I run other addons, and when this is the only addon loaded.
Edit:
I forgot to note that this only happens if I close the RABuff window by clicking the little "X" icon on it.
I tried deleting my SV file and rerunning WoW and got no crash. If I close the RABuff window, and then reloadui, I get the error again.
If I close the window, then reopen it with /rab before reloadui, I get no error.
Hi there, first off, very cool addon so thanks for all your work.
Just a few things I noticed while playing around with it for a while.
The remind to recast x minutes before buff runs out function seems to be hit or miss.
"Queries tab -> Racast if runs out in: x minutes."
Example, on my druid, if I leave the default setting of, remind me to recast Mark of the Wild 5 minutes before it expires, it won't. If I change it to a setting over 20 minutes it will, kind of strange.
Also, the bar that displays "Debuffs I can remove".
It does display the debuff but is there supposed to be a debuff/dispel function when you click on it? When I click on it there is a "Interface action failed because of an addon" message in the chat window.
I wasn't sure if it was supposed to simply tell you there is a debuff or also remove it as i cannot find any configuration setting where one can specify which spell to use for removing debuffs.
1.3.0 is pretty much a maintenance release, aimed at sweeping the errors introduced by 3.0 beneath the rug rather than fixing the root causes. It should work -- but it isn't the most awesome solution I can think of. Ultimately, it's going to take a rewrite to get this updated properly; unfortunately, I have no timeline for doing that.
Now is an awesome time to post which features like like the most, which features you're sorely missing, and which features are so useless you've never found out how they work; I can't promise anything timely with that, but it'll ultimately help me figure out what I need to do in the distant future.

Re: Divine Spirit (single buff) for Warriors and Rogues

Just 1 request, could you make it so Priests can single buff Divine Spirit on Warriors and Rogues (arena dispel fodder)? I've tried everything to try to configure it to do so but it never saves my configuration properly.
You may be able to achieve that through the third tab of the configuration dialog - choose Divine Spirit and click on the warrior/rogue icons to enable casting on them.

Any chance that RABuffs could watch the buff times on pets like it does on players to flash the bar when a buff is about to run out?
Divine Spirit (single buff) for Warriors and Rogues
Love the mod! Makes buffing so much easier! Thx for putting pet buffing in the most recent update!

Am I the only one having problems getting RAbuffs working with the 2.4 patch? I've downloaded the latest RAbuffs, made sure that it is enabled in the plugins, even cleared out the WTF data, but the RAbuffs window never appears. Any hints on getting this working would be very welcome, as I really miss this mod. Thanks in advance!
EDIT: I feel stupid; forgot to check the "Load out of date addons". I checked that and now it works like a charm!
