Ankh Cooldown Timer   Popular!

A Reincarnation cooldown monitor and ankh helper for shamans.

Update: A complete rewrite for 3.0.2 will be coming very soon!
  • Always-visible Reincarnation cooldown timer
  • Remembers when you last used Reincarnation
  • Reminds you when you need to buy more ankhs
  • Automatically buys ankhs when interacting with a reagent vendor
  • Optional plugins for FuBar and Titan Panel (see "Optional Files" tab)

Usage:

Type /ankhcooldowntimer or /act with the following commands:
  • cooldown - print your Reincarnation cooldown
  • last - print the date and time you last used Reincarnation
  • warn <N> - set the low ankh warning threshold; use 0 to disable
  • buy <N> - set the auto-purchase quantity; use 0 to disable
  • quiet - suppress automatic messages
  • show - show or hide the monitor window
  • lock - lock the monitor window in place

Planned Features
  • Alert when Reincarnation becomes ready
  • Improve the low ankh reminder
  • Improve the monitor window

Localization
  • Compatible with all locales. Please report any issues with localization.
  • Translated only in English and Russian currently. If you can help translate the display text for French (frFR), German (deDE), Spanish (esES or esMX), Korean (koKR), or Chinese (zhCN or zhTW), please send me a PM.

Known Issues
  • When logging in for the first time, the low ankh warning incorrectly reports that you have no ankhs.

Reporting Bugs

Before reporting a bug, please make sure the bug isn't on the list of known issues (see above), and hasn't already been reported. Then post a bug report that includes the following information:
  • what version of Ankh Cooldown Timer you are using,
  • what the problem is,
  • what you were doing when the problem occured,
  • whether the problem occurs every time you perform that action,
  • the exact text of any error messages you see (make sure Lua Errors are enabled in your Interface Options, or install !BugGrabber and BugSack),
  • whether the problem occurs when Ankh Cooldown Timer is the only addon enabled,
  • whether the problem occurs after deleting the Ankh Cooldown Timer saved variables file, and
  • what locale you play WoW in.
Bug reports posted in the comments section are liable to be ignored.

Requesting Features

Ankh Cooldown Timer is intentionally limited in scope to features related to the shaman Reincarnation ability. If you have a suggestion for a feature that is in line with this goal, post a feature request describing the feature and why you think it would be useful.

It seems to download correctly for me.

Also, the new Titan plugin is working now and there are no longer errors when hovering over ACT.

Thanks!

Thanks Phanx, you are cool to continue working on this even though you don't use Titan. Those of us who do really appreciate it.

I downloaded the latest one and am getting the following error when hovering over ACT in TitanPanel. I am also using the TitanPanel ACT plugin:

Interface\AddOns\TitanAnkhCooldownTimer\Core.lua:50: attempt to call method 'GetTooltipText' (a nil value)

Hi all,

I just wanted to post a quick comment letting you all know that Ankh Cooldown Timer is not abandoned. It's still fully functional, and I still use it myself, but I simply haven't had time lately to work on it. I do have some plans for improvements in the future though!

2. Delete ACT, ACTFu, and FuBar, and re-download all of them.

3. Make sure AnkhCooldownTimerFu is marked for display on FuBar. It may have been hidden somehow.

4. Delete the saved variables for ACT, ACTFu, and FuBar (warning: you will have to reconfigure your FuBar after doing this). Do this while WoW is not running.

5. Disable all addons besides ACT, ACTFu, and FuBar.

If none of these steps solve the problem, please report back.
I figured it out. It was really strange but stupid. The fubar plugin didn't display in the list of fubar addons. I know that I didn't disable anything however, I discovered that it had been disabled in the list of addons. For some reason, when I clicked load out of date addons after the patch, AnkhCooldownTimer didn't reenable. I reenabled it for my shaman and all is well now.

FuBar plugin missing now

Has anyone besides me had their FuBar plugin disappear after the 2.3 patch? It's still loaded under the interfaces directory but, I no longer have the ankh display on my FuBar.

Cool. I didn't expect an update just for .TOC but wondered if some modifications were necessary as other addons required some changes. Thanks.
