Bartender3 is an Ace2 AddOn to provide more flexibility and functionality to the Action Buttons.
It is NOT based on Bartender2, but a total rewrite.
Although the functionality is basically the same, Bartender3 was explicitly designed for WoW 2.0
The current version of Bartender3 supports nearly all Features BT2 offered, plus some more, which include:
- Full style control ( Alpha / Scale / Padding )
- Split up Bars into Rows
- Set the number of buttons per bar ( only 1 - 12 supported, for short bars )
- Dynamic Page Swapping for Stances ( on all Bars, by default enabled on Bar1 )
- Dynamic Page Swapping on Modifier Down ( Shift / Ctrl / Alt )
- Custom Styles included: Zoomed Buttons ( Hide Border from BT2 ), Dreamlayout
- Integrated RedRange and full support for Cooldown Count ( for example with OmniCC by Tuller )
- Self Casting using a modifier key, or Right Click on the button
If your settings seem to have reset after the last update, go into the Options -> Profile and Choose Default again, or alternatively, copy your settings from Default using the "Copy" option.

Optional Files - Bartender3
Sorry, there are currently no optional files available.
Hi, I play a druid and have been collecting gear sets for all 3 specs/4 roles. I use the Talented mod (allows you to create templates for talent builds and apply them in one-click) to quickly swap my spec based on what the guild needs for a given raid. This allows me to very quickly switch my primary role, however every time I respec, I have to go through the spellbook and add all the talent-based spells back to my bars. Is there any chance of adding a sort of sub-profile that changes your bars based on spec and remembers talent-based spells when you don't have them? For example, when I'm Feral spec, I prefer to have Mangle as my 2 hotkey, when I'm not feral, I use a different spell to add combo points. When I'm Balance and Resto, I have to add Insect Swarm back to my action bars.
Thank you for taking the time to read this suggestion and thank you for creating this wonderful bar mod.
Bartender3 has been one of my favorites since I prefer to minimize blockage of the screen. I like to use smaller profile bars and snap them to each other along the bottom edge and the right side. I have my XPbar sandwiched between 2 rows at the bottom edge with a reputation bar along the top edge of the 2, with a stance bar and pet bar defined just above the rep bar; and 2 vertical columns on the right upper edge below the map snapped together for a 2-button wide area. However, I have noticed 2 issues:
1. when trying to snap bars to each other in the proximity of other bars, the snapping gets confused and will not properly snap in line horizontilly or vertically. It is necessary to move the other bars away temporarily, snap the bar into place, then move the other bar back (while hoping that the bar I just snapped doesn't interfere with placing the moved bar back where it was)
2. It seems that the rest of the UI doesn't always know where the bars are located... for example, I tried to place two vertical rows in a single file along the right edge, but they are blocked by opening bags. Quest Log entries displayed below the minimap paint text right over the bartender rows, making them impossible to read instead of being outdented from the bars. I've had trouble with the chat logs in the lower left going UNDER the bartender rows also (as though they didn't exist).
Admittedly, some or all of the above may be related to the other add-ins I use, but luckily it is a very small set:
* Auctioneer Advanced
* Bartender3
* Cosmos
* Gatherer
Anything you can do to address these issues would be appreciated!
I've been using Bartender3 for a long time now and the 2.4 patch has really knobbled it. I'm having the same issue as Amethy. This actually effects Bar 1 which is supposed to page with stances. This seems to happen in the middle of combat which is why I'm looking at other bars today and not waiting for a fix.
Bar 1 stops paging suddenly for no reason and the buttons mirror another bar in my case Bar 2. This is particularly debilitating as when I want to taunt a mob the Alchemy Trade window opens. This is a critical error for me and Bartender will have to go until I can be assured it's functioning again.
I'm having trouble finding where i set my own custion keybindings. Before i reset my UI i had almost every spell hotkeyed (im a mage) with using the whole left half of my keyboard and shift keys and i'd like to have it like i did before.
I am having issue where the bars are copying each other.
I setup bars 1-5 lets say, I play for a bit log out and come back and then all of a sudden the stuff on bar 1 is the same stuff as bar 4. I never did anything different to them. Then when I try to put the stuff back on bar 1 it copies the same to bar 4. This is very frustrating - any ideas or help?
Originally posted by BanjinAphex I have a question. I have Bartender3 set up on all my characters and overlayed with cycircled. However, recently on my shaman, where the buttons used to be only round, are now round with a transparent grey square behind them.
This is only on my shaman though. Who is my main. However, on all other characters, it is not the case. The background image is not there. I have tried every possible combination of options to take care of this. and even tried disabling cycircled. So i have narrowed the problem to this.
suggestions?
Nevermind. Apparently using TotemTimer with the mod causes the backgrounds to stick.

I'm also having the same problem as posted below. I've used Bartender3 for the past year, but after a recent WTF Folder clear I can not get the Bartender3 mini-map button to actually stay there.
Once I quit and exit WoW, the Bartender3 mini-map button is gone when I log back in again. I've tried using both the /bartender3 config menu and the config through fubar, but the option always reverts back after a restart.

loving this addon, much easier to use then other bar mods that I've had. the only issue that I have is that I started a lock today and I got my first summonable pet (imp), I have it set so that pet frame shows up when I have one controlled/summoned but I still can't see it. Any idea whats causing this?

I <3 Bartender but I have one small problem. I like my chat window on the bottom left corner with my bars to the right of that. Every thing is fine until I zone and the chat window bounces to its default position where it would be if hadn't moved anything. Is there a way to stop this from happening?
