An example of a vendor price being displayed while not at a merchant.
VendorValues   Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
This addon displays in the standard and static tooltips the vendor prices of any items which you have
brought to a merchant or which are in the default database, which consists of approximately 31,000
items (almost every item in the game as of 3.0.3). Type "/veva" for configuration options, including the
text, color, and visibility of the tooltip's money line prefix, and whether or not to include a separator
line between the price line and the rest of the tooltip.

Great mod
This is a wonderful mod and always earns me a few extra thousand gold when I level a new character.

Unfortunately, it seems to pop up a lot of tooltip related error messages on 3.2. An update would be greatly appreciated!

Unhappy latest patch on 5-19-2009 made it out of date
I have this installed but the latest patch that blizz put out had this listed as being out of date and I cannot get it to work now.

hummm.. but i still got no prices. The boxes are way short. I can see the value some of them but not on most.

I was just about to post something similar! I really enjoy this addon. I am also hoping that it can be fixed and that the author is willing to invest the time.

After the installment of patch 2.3.2 (7741) VendorValues isn't working correctly. Items with value get the line (for example) "Vendor value for 9:" just outside the item info frame and the actual value in coins is missing. Quest items don't seem infected by this problem. They show the line "Vendor value: <none>" inside the frame just like before.

I hope you can make it work again. I'm too used to it.

You might want to take a poke at http://www.wowwiki.com/API_GetSellValue This would allow your users to pick their vendor price mod, instead of forcing them to use a specific one.

Question What about the old VendorValues.lua?
Thx for the update, Saeris!

But what about the old database? Can I keep the old VendorValues.lua, or is it a better idea to delete all the files related to version 1.4.2, and start fresh with the new files?

Is there a way to save the prizes that are not in the default database?

Thx again for this extremely useful addon! Can't play without it anymore. I sometimes even forget its an addon.

separator
i tried /veva separator and it worked for me too.
vendorvalues responded by saying it has been set to false. maybe u should try reinstalling V.V.

Strange, it worked for me. I checked my SavedVariables, but I didn't find anything like ["Separator'] = false. Maybe you should PM Saeris.

ive tried

/veva separator (hoping it would toggle) it doesnt

ive tried adding off,false,toggle, none of these seem to turn it off

please help

Try this: /veva separator

When in-game type /veva for a list of all the mod options.
