Natur Enemy Castbar   Updated less than 3 days ago!   Popular!
Natur Enemy Castbar
Build r30019 BETA4, Released 7th January 2009

Important Note: This version and all future versions now are located in the folder called "Natur" and not "NECB" which was used in previous versions. Please delete any previous versions from your addon folder before installing this version. Furthermore, the command for the options screen is now /natur

Whats new in r30019 BETA4 (a brief list):
  • Poison and ability stacking support.
  • Show targets beneficial buffs and their durations allowing you to quickly dispell or steal.
  • Improved the rogue detection code to be less spammy.
  • Split Group support allowing benificial buffs, diminish returns, cooldowns etc in their own timer groups.
  • Talents and Glyph support
  • Fixed Garrote, Rupture and other abilities which rely on the number of combo points.
  • More spell support, incluing PvP trinkets etc.
  • Removed totem timers since most use a seperate addon for this purpose - if you want this back in then it can easily be added.

The following have been implemented:
  • Target & Focus - Bar display can be switched to your target/focus only, or you can show all player casts around you. In target/focus mode the bars show a T or an F on the right showing you where the cast is from.
  • Movable Groups - Groups can be grouped as one or split up.
  • Shows yours and your targets cooldowns, beneficial buffs and much more!
  • Killing Blow Sounds - Plays a quake sound when you get a killing blow on another player - both male and female sounds are provided. This option can be turned off or played during questing normal mobs.
  • Bar Customization – Edit the bar height, width, texture, direction and bar max.
  • Rogue warning – Natur detects Stealth, Vanish etc and warns you that a hostile rogue is near by a UI border flash and UI text warning.
  • Diminish Returns Timers – also plays warning when your target is immune or resists your abilities. Support is also provided to show others DR timers.
  • Correctly shows duration of a cast which your target already started!

[IMPORTANT]

Please understand that this was a complete rewrite and not all features are implemented in this version until further testing. With that in mind there will be a lot of incoming updates so please keep checking back. If there is something not working right, or you have a suggestion please post it so that it can be fixed.

Im sure there will be many things missing and hopefully with your suggestions we'll both get this addon back on track!

Hello,
I'd like to report few problems I've noticed so far, mostly from Priest perspective.

First of all, quite alot of my cooldowns seem not to be tracked, those which I noticed are: Prayer of Mending, Inner Focus, Dispersion, Shadowfiend, Vampiric Embrace, Shadow Word: Death and Mind Blast, the only working ones were Devouring Plague, Psychic Scream and Power Word: Shield. I haven't tested others such as Silence, Desperate Prayer, Power Infusion, Pain Suppression or Penance yet but I assume that most of them aren't tracked as well.

In the previous version Shadowfiend CD was tracked, however it was always showing 5 minutes, even though shadow talent Veiled Shadows reduces the CD by 1/2mins.

Another problem I noticed were other classes cooldowns tracking, there seem to be alot of cd's which need to be added too. Those missing which I remember would be Hunter's Bestial Wrath and Intimidation, but there must alot of missing ones from pretty much all classes. Unfortunately, it will take some work to add them ;(.

Lastly, I'd like to thank you for bringing this addon back. Try not to care about all the whiners etc. and keep up the good work.

I saw this in my FrameXML log and thought I'd let you know.
It appears that Natur_FlashTexture is being skinned by a texture inside an addon not all of us use.

EDIT: Just realised what your post meant and I'll look into kepping the focus targets timers always shown.

The addon uses events from the combat log such as SPELL_AURA_APPLIED which fires when a dot is applied or a crowd control is cast. Sometimes sadly the combat log fires the applied event when its not applied, or doesnt fire at all but this ones rare.

If the game fires incorrectly theres nothing I can do... thats Blizzards department.

As for the bug reports, report them here. The T/F is already implemented and working.

I'm having a problem, if i cast shadow word: pain and the spell misses the timer bars show up even if the debuff did not "hit" the target, and if i recast the spell and it hit the 2nd time the timer wont reset to the correct time length, in order to make the spell be correct with the timer i have to recast shadow word: pain while the debuff is active...
And is there any chance you could implent an option to show [T] / [F] next to the bars that affects Target / Focus target in any upcoming patch?

Bars move both directions and is controlled by the addon, i.e. cooldowns move right to left, casts move left to right. Direction of bars (climb up or down) can also be adjusted but i have no plans to add an invert bar option at the moment unless more want it.

in the current version the bars move from left to right.
in the old there was in invert option.
i can set that the bars move from right up to left. is that possible in the new version(s)?

Hey just one thing,
In the old Necb the DR timers would be displayed as Polymorph[1/3], [2/3] or [3/3].
Any chance you could add that back?

Edit: I'm trying to make my bars all the same width but when I pull the slider for some bars it goes up by 40 while others go up by 10 then 40 so in the end its uneven.

Yea, I know. I want to be able to set a special list and when Natur detects that spell being cast to have an on-screen alert of some kind.

A play a mage, and when a hordie starts to cast a heal spell (priest/paladin/shaman/druid) I want to be alerted so I can cast counterspell to stop it. This is just an example.

Im not sure what you mean by "player casts" as this can be your casts or a player you have selected.. anyway, if its your casts such dots etc that you put on a target then the option you need to turn off is "Show My Spells".

If its just stuff you put on yourself such as Renew, Power Word: Shield etc then the option is "Show casts on myself".

If you mean that you dont want to see what others are casting at you then simply turn off "Hostile Casts".

In a nutshell, the options will let you configure the addon exactly how you want it.
