Is this bar configurable to set up in more than one format?
or example, can I change the bar from being horizontal to vertical? Is it also possible to choose the number of rows/columns for the minimap buttons to shift to? Oh.... and is it possible to change the order of the Minimap Buttons within the bar? Thanks in advance for your response.

MBB and Fizzwidget's TrackMenu
Some time ago I made the change to Fizzwidget's TrackMenu mentioned by Turinsrevenge back in March to fix the error when mousing over the tracker MiniMap button. It has worked fine since then, but Fizzwidget says that it is actually a problem with MBB relying on the buttons to have names, which (he says) isn't good to depend on. My comments and his reply are here:
http://fizzwidget.com/2007/07/20/gfw...-1-1/#comments Although things are working fine as it is with the TrackMenu changes, I hope someday the "problem" with MBB can be remedied. |

works a charm now... dumped Discord (FluidFrames ftw, will look into MoveIt... really good, full featured and accesible frame movers seem hard to come by)
one of my favorite add-ons... talk it up in guild chat whenever the subject comes up... |

Re: Smokin CPU
Hi Martek,
My friend has exactly the same issue as you, yet it only occurd with his mage, for some reason while his mage has 'AtlasLoot' installed clicking the ButtonBag kills the framerate for a few seconds and then the buttons dont hide again. Only way we found to fix his was for him to remove AtlasLoot, not sure why this is happening, but from what I read somewhere it may be loosely to do with the AtlasLoot minimap button (for some reason its causing errors all over the place). If you happen to be running atlasloot, try disabling the miniimap button and reloadui. If that doesnt help then the only other thing I can think of would be to edit the MMB files to remove any occurances of AtlasLoot. If, however, you arent running AtlasLoot try a systematic disbaling of addons 1-by-1 until the ButtonBag works. Maybe if you can find what addon is causing the issue there may be a way to fix it. Over and out !

Hi, sorry for late reply.
Discord, from my experience, has terrible problems relating to other addons. If you are looking for a good addon to move things around screen I recommend 'MoveIt' http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/5382/ install and go into your keybindings and assing as you like. then mouse over something on screen and press the assigned key. You should now be able to drag it anywhere and also scale / opacity it, or hide it completely. To finish move press the assigned button again ![]() As for your Overflow issue, I hope disabling discord fixed it. ![]()

I like how this mod functions, but it raped my CPU. I don't know what's in there but I couldn't rip this out fast enough.

ok...
(edit: forgot to describe error) MBB grabs all buttons and puts them in bag and can move the BagButton around minimap, can even send buttons back to minimap and to bag with Ctrl=RClick... but can't close bag, which is kinda the point Error: Attempt to index global MBB.Options (a nil value) then a path to MBB.lua Line 582 Error: Stack Overflow Line 390 Count : 15 don't use FuBar and deleted my WTF (after backing up and moving out of WoW directory) gonna try to fiddle with it some more... wondering if it's related to frame moving mod? (using Discord atm)

In what way will the QuickFix not work? Could you supply some details on what exactly is happening + any error messages. I also assume your not running FuBar?
Oh and P.S. Did you remove the existing MBB folder and the Saved Variables (MBB.lua + MBB.lua.bak) in your ... 'WTF\Account\<account name>\<server>\<character name>\SavedVariables\

Here is a Fix for MBB for those not running FuBar :)
I decided to quick-fix the error below as I cannot do without this addon
![]() ------------------------------------------- Date: 2007-03-04 09:51:56 ID: 51 Error occured in: Global Count: 1 Message: ..\AddOns\MBB\MBB.lua line 358: stack overflow Debug: [C]: select() MBB\MBB.lua:358: ohide() MBB\MBB.lua:364: ohide() MBB\MBB.lua:364: ohide() MBB\MBB.lua:364: ohide() MBB\MBB.lua:364: ohide() MBB\MBB.lua:364: ohide() MBB\MBB.lua:364: ohide() MBB\MBB.lua:364: ohide() MBB\MBB.lua:364: ohide() ------------------------------------------------ This fix is for all of you out there who are not running FuBar. It is only a quick fix to allow us without FuBar to carry on using this amazing addon :P The modified addon can be found on my webspace at : http://www.dinomarky.btinternet.co.uk/MBB_Fixed.zip Please feel free to scan the file with any virus scanners before using (although I can guarantee it is 100% safe )Thanks again to 'Tunhadil' for such an amazing addon - cant live without it ... Keep up the great work ! <Himeno : Kul Tiras> |
