Wouldn't mind an update for Cata but it works fine anyway

It works nicely in 4.0.1.

All I did was edit the top of HoverTips.lua to add the instancelock linktype.
So I can get nice hovertips on mouse over instance lock links.

Any plans to update this for the Cataclysm Beta?

Is there a way to edit the various font sizes and faces in the comparison tooltip? Things are awfully messy using a bitmap font.

What I have found happening is tekkompare is unloading itself with every change of zone, or every occasion where I get the loading screen. I have to go back in and turn it back on.
I am using no other comparison addons.

This occurs when I attempt to move the tooltip of an item. The result is the tooltip moves but the comparison tooltip no longer displays and I get the error.

I don't remember this feature...

Since 3.3 I'm only getting comparison tooltips for the items I'm wearing. Before 3.3 I would get a comparison tooltip for all the sets I had saved in the Equipment manager. Now I have to hold shift to get the comparison tooltips for my other gear sets. Am I missing an option somewhere or did something change?

I'm assuming from the screenshot that you are using AuctionLite to display vendor prices. If I'm wrong, disregard this reply.

I was having the same problem, and I think AuctionLite is to blame - when using an addon that generates a comparison tooltip, such as TekKompare or Pawn, AuctionLite displays the vendor price of the item on the extra tooltip, instead of the actual highlighted item. This happens with Pawn + AuctionLite alone, without TekKompare, as well as with TekKompare + AuctionLite (without Pawn). I left a message for the author of AuctionLite, but I'm still not 100% sure what's causing the error.

Edit to add - with TekKompare enabled, you'll see the vendor price for the item you have equipped in the same slot as the highlighted item, even if TekKompare's extra tooltip is not being actively displayed. You can verify this yourself by checking the correct vendor price of one of your equipped items, then hovering over an item in your bag from the same slot. The tooltip should show the vendor price of the equipped item instead.

Second edit - the author of AuctionLite confirmed that his addon was causing this. Rather than using the GetItemInfo API, he was pulling the vendor price from the Blizzard tooltip and then suppressing it. The next version will use GetItemInfo, which should fix this problem.

It seems as though tekKompare is showing incorrect prices for items. In the screenshot the image on the left is with tekKompare disabled and the one on the right is with it enabled. Any ideas what may be causing this?

I have narrowed it down to Arkinventory - I loaded Cumbuctor and Bankstack and the issue went away.

It looks like another addon you guys are using is conflicting with tekKompare. From the SS provided, I can see I am not using the bag addon that is shown and I do not have this problem, even before the latest update. Try disabling the bag addon and see if the problem goes away.
I've tried several bag addons and they all seemed to have a problem or conflicted with another addon. I now just use one that shows me how many empty slots for each bag on the default WoW bags.
Also turn off other tool tip addons to see if one of them is conflicting.
