    VendorBait is a small addon I wrote to complement Tuller's SellFish addon. When turning in a quest which gives a "select your reward" section, the item with the highest value is highlighted.

    As of patch 3.2 the WoW API provides vendor prices, so you no longer need an addon like SellFish to provide prices.

    i have even disabled all my addons bar this one and gone round questing and it still does same thing it does when all my addon are on, as in works when it wants to and not all the time

    LOL? Any change to addons, being it update or a new addon, is a change, and could cause conflicts. Just by the nature of Lua.

    im having the same problem as LunaEclipse73, havent changed any addons that i had before cata release bar getting the updates for them so cant see it being a conflict as before cata worked perfect

    There's a conflict with Pawn if you use it to show you which item is an upgrade for you in Quest Rewards. (The option that puts a green up arrow on the item). VendorBait will work more often if you turn that option off.

    This won't fix the intermittently working problem, but when 4.0.3a was released, I'd forgotten to check the box that says "Load Out-Of-Date Addons" so I thought that this had stopped working entirely. If anyone's having a problem where it seems like it's not working at all, check that first.

    I did notice it working intermittently before 4.0.3a, but I question whether that's a conflict with another addon or maybe specific problems with some specific quest rewards/quests. Unfortunately I don't have anyone who's able to synch up with me on the same quest zones/lines to check that theory.

    Troubles with 4.0.1
    I am having troubles with 4.0.3, I don't receive any LUA errors, but I find this addon only works intermittently, sometimes the best vendor option is highlighted, other times it is not.

    This seems to be completely random, and I have no idea why it is doing it.

    The version from two days ago on GitHub seems to be working fine. Just replace the code in the .lua file or edit the two words that have changed (QuestRewardItem to QuestInfoItem twice in the file)
    Just remember, there might be a reason why Tekkub hasn't uploaded this to wowinterface yet. So use at your own risk
