BetterGuild
This addon let you group your guildmembers.

Select a guildmembers with right-click and select a mainchar to attach this guildmembers to him.
Now you get a button to minimize/maximize this group.
You can add more than one guildmembers to one main.

If one twink is online and the group is minimized then the name of the main is displayed in brackets.

The settings you make will be seaved per guild.

planned:
add buttons to set notes to guildmembers.

BugFix:
correct the bug that accours if you set a twink to the main in a group with more than one twink. If you had this problem you had to reset the DB with /bg profile reset

Thumbs up Settings not retained
Took some time to set everyone in my guild's main/twink status using this mod. Switched to an alt, and the mod didn't show guildmates' status.. Switched back to the char that I set everything with.. and all the status notes are gone.
Reset them, reloaded the interface, and sure enough.. all status notes gone again.

I'm guessing once the statuses are set once, they should show for all other chars on my acct, and settings should persist between sessions, right?

Hi!

I wondered wether it is possible to make the GuildFrame a little wider, using the space to be able to display longer names.
If there is an alt with a long name, one cannot see the main, since the column is too narrow.

This option is ever grayed our if you right-click an main. If you right-clicked a twink this options should be active.

Set Main Option
By the way the set as main option is always greyed out.

Ever thought of having it get its settings from officer notes?


For example we have [MainsName] in each alts officer note for another addon.

I think you will provide your settings to your guild so that they only have to dowload your settings.

The settings are saved in the "BetterGuild.lua" in this folder:
WOW\WTF\<accountname>\SavedVariables\

you can copy that file and upload it.

Those guys who want to use your settings, just copy this file in their
WOW\WTF\<accountname>\SavedVariables\
folder.
For the last step WOW must not running, else the file will be overwritten by WOW if WOW is closing or the UI is reloading.

I like the idea of this addon.
I have a thought. Can I go over my guild and get it all setup and then somehow include the database with the addon?

My thoughts is maybe an import option? Or I stick a copy of my lua file from saved variables into the addon?
