GridStatusHealingReduced makes Grid aware of debuffs which reduce or prevent healing received.
The following healing reduction debuffs are supported:
Code:
Aimed Shot Mortal Strike
Arcing Smash Mortal Wound
Brood Affliction: Green Mutated Infection
Chop Necrotic Poison
Curse of the Bleeding Hollow Necrotic Strike
Curse of the Deadwood Nether Portal - Dominance
Dark Touched Permafrost
Dark Volley Ray of Pain
Deathblow Shadow Spike
Demolish Shroud of Darkness
Ebon Poison Solar Strike
Fetid Rot Soul Strike
Filet Suppression
Furious Attacks Touch of the Forgotten
Gehennas' Curse Veil of Shadow
Hex of Weakness Wound Poison
Magma-Thrower's Curse Wounding Strike
Mind Trauma Wretched Strike
Mortal Cleave
The following healing prevention debuffs are supported:
Code:
Aura of Suffering Enfeeble
Darkness Necrotic Aura
Embrace of the Vampyr
If encounter a debuff which reduces the effectiveness of all healing spells, but is not listed above, please see the Bug Reports section below.
Please note that the following debuffs have been intentionally excluded:
Incinerate Flesh – Though this debuff does indeed reduce all healing received by 100%, the general purpose of the Healing Prevented status is to show that you shouldn’t spend your time and mana trying to heal someone, whereas you definitely should heal someone with the Incinerate Flesh debuff.
Shadow Embrace – This debuff reduces the effectiveness of only periodic healing, and is the only debuff that does this. If you are a druid and you PvP, you can easily add this single debuff to Grid yourself. Until more debuffs like this are added to the game, I’ve opted to keep GridStatusHealingReduced limited only to debuffs which affect all healers in a wider variety of situations.
Usage
After installing this plugin, you will find two new statuses available in Grid: one for debuffs which reduce healing received, and one for debuffs which effectively prevent healing received. These statuses are configurable in all the usual ways, and can be assigned to any indicator.
Localization
GridStatusHealingReduced is compatible with all locales.
GridStatusHealingReduced is translated into English, Deutsch, Español, Français, Русский, 한국어, 简体中文, and 正體中文. If you can provide translations for another locale, please send me a PM on this site, on wowace.com, or on wowinterface.com.
Bug Reports
If you encounter a problem with GridStatusHealingReduced, please follow these three easy steps:
Check the ticket tracker to see if the problem has already been reported. If it has, please don’t create another ticket for the same problem, but feel free to add a comment to the existing ticket if you have more information to add.
Try some basic troubleshooting steps. Sometimes, you’ll be able to fix the problem yourself without having to wait for a response to your ticket, but even if you’re not, troubleshooting will still help you gather useful information to include in your report.
Submit a bug report ticket. Make sure you include enough information to identify the problem; I can’t help you if I don’t know what the problem is! At the very least, you should include the version of the addon you have installed, the text of any error messages that appear in-game, a description of the problem and any actions that trigger it, and a summary of troubleshooting steps you tried.
Remember to check on your ticket after a few days, as I may need more information from you in order to identify or fix the problem!

Originally posted by MoonWitch Do you mean this works with Grid and Grid2?
No.
Versions of Grid prior to 1.30000.2009011501 used UnitName to identify units internally; this was why it got confused when a hunter named his pet after a player. Current versions of Grid use UnitGUID to identify units internally, so there is no confusion, since GUIDs are unique.
Grid2 is a completely different addon with completely different code and a different API. Grid2 is also an incomplete and unreleased alpha addon that no normal user should be using, and until it is completed and released, I won't be writing a Grid2 version of this plugin... and when I do, it will be separate, since no user should ever run Grid and Grid2 at the same time.
Originally posted by Phanx It's also updated for the upcoming UnitGUID-based versions of Grid, though for now it's also compatible for the current UnitName-based versions. I do, however, suggest that as soon as the UnitGUID-based versions become available, you update Grid, as I will remove backward compatibility soon thereafter.
3.0.3.15 is now more efficient by looking only for debuffs which can be applied in your current zone (i.e. if you're in Naxxramas, it will look for Necrotic Posion, but it will not look for Curse of the Deadwood). It's also updated for the upcoming UnitGUID-based versions of Grid, though for now it's also compatible for the current UnitName-based versions. I do, however, suggest that as soon as the UnitGUID-based versions become available, you update Grid, as I will remove backward compatibility soon thereafter.
I think I also typed the version name incorrectly as 3.0.2.15 when posting it, but as long as the number at the end is 15, you're fine.
