Example on how the estimated disenchant info is shown
EstimateEnchant   Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
EstimateEnchant is a simple addon that estimates what an items will Disenchant into, based on data from the WoW Armory.

The estimation is based on item level, quality and type.

Note, due to the way the info is based, some items that cannot be disenchanted will list an estimation anyway (for instance some of the pvp weapons).

Tekkub, yes I'm fully aware that the probability have been explored to a greater detail, but I deliberately used the Armory data, as it is the only source of official information on that area.

The probabilities have been worked out, to much more exact numbers than what the armory provides. http://www.wowwiki.com/Disenchanting_tables

The new version of enchantrix uses this table, as does one of my addons. GFW Disenchant Predictor also uses the same algorithm, it just gives fuzzy values (rare, frequently) instead of percents.

Planning on adding an exclusion list, so the info won't show for items that can't be disenchanted, just didn't have the time to add it, and wanted to release the addon with WoW 2.2.

For items that cannot be disenchanted, such as rewards from Halaa, can the tooltip addon just simply not appear? Any methods to detecting and determining for this?
