More Information
More detailed information about Armory can be found on the project site. Here you can also access the localization tab which provides an interface to make things easier on translators. Additional software, like ArmoryGuildRecipes, its XML exporter and a Joomla! web site plug-in, as well as a tool to merge databases from different accounts can be found on the Neighbours Guild Website.
Bug Reports and Feature Requests
The comments are not meant to be used for reporting bugs and feature requests. Especially long stack dumps will clutter up the comments section and make it hard to follow. This may result in your post being unnoticed. Also you have no idea what happened with your post and you will not be able to track its status. The best thing to do in this case is file a ticket.

Since I moved to Linux I don't use Curse - I have no energy for trying to make it's auto-installer thingie work under Wine, as WoW itself does, and if I'm going to be dl'ing and installing on my own, I don't need a webpage with so many dancing bears that everything slows to a crawl.

Well, you can't, but the alpha build on CurseForge contains an option to only include counts for the player's guild.

I have 10 toons in 3 different guilds on the same realm. How can I filter the tooltip info of items stored in different guild banks so they would ONLY show their respective guild rather than all the guild banks?

Feature request

I love Armory and feel so lost whenever Blizz breaks it. One feature I'd LOVE to see (no idea how easy it would be) is to know what bank tab a given item can be found. The feature's already there for the guild bank so I'm begging you to add it to one's personal bank! Thanks for considering!!

Well, there is a limitation. Items are matched on item id. If items are enchanted for example, the item id remains the same but additional ids are appended. Armory checks on the primary item id only so that in this case an enchanted item is considered the same as an unenchanted version. I would have expected that your items had different primary ids, but I checked wowhead (http://www.wowhead.com/item=52309) and it appears that the suffixes you mention are considered enchants (all variations shared the same id). I have several items of the same type (bracers, for example) made by leatherworking, but with different suffixes (of the galeburst, of the windflurry, etc..) and Armory can't seem to tell these apart.

You getting a warning is not a bug, it is a feature The API doesn't return all profession data all the time. Armory detects that now and warns you about it so you are at least aware that the data stored is incomplete.
I'm thinking about scanning twice: once when you open and once when you close. The data is stored when closing (if you didn't change the config setting), so this might be a work-around.
I need to find the time to start coding again first.

*Edit* I found some time There is a new alpha build available on http://wow.curseforge.com/addons/armory/files/.
I'll give the new build a whirld. What was happening was I had to open and close the profession data twice no matter what each time I viewed a different profession. So I'd have to open/close my tailoring window twice, and if I then viewed my engineering prof window, I'd have to open/close it twice too. Then if I went back to tailoring, even if it was right after the engineering looksee, same deal - had to do it twice. I got warnings on all first close attempts even if I let the window sit there for ten minutes.

It wasn't gamebreaking, but a bit on the annoying side.
