Hello friendships! I don't have much (if any) time to spend on UI stuff anymore, but I want to correct a problem people have been having with my (really old) SharedMedia files. If you're having trouble getting any of the 'Hal' textures to show up in your mods, download this and follow the brief instructions.

Hope that helps, have fun.
Updated (4/12/08)
NEW HEROISM/BLOODLUST MUSIC ADDED!
In case "In the Air Tonight" was starting to wear on you (is that even possible?), I've added a few more musical selections to choose from. Under /msbt -> Triggers, find the applicable buff and then under its config options, change the sound file to Heroism(1-4).mp3
***Note***
The buff from the Shard of Contempt trinket is called Heroism, and so will cause the music to play every time it procs. You may consider disabling this trigger if you're not awesome enough to handle Phil Collins on perma-repeat.
1. Backup your Fonts, WTF, and Interface folders. Delete the originals.
2. Copy contents of Hal_v8.2.4 into your WoW directory.
3. Rename YOURACCOUNTNAME, YourServerName, and YourCharacterName to the appropriate names.
4. Make additional copies of YourCharacterName for every character you want to use the UI for.
5. Re-install any additional mods from your backup Interface folder.
6. Log in, check your enabled mods list, enter game, fix any layout problems.
//Notes:
1. Some configuration WILL be necessary. I have no way of ensuring everything
will look precisely as it does in the screenshots. If something isn't showing
up in the right place, or random mods are enabled that shouldn't be (i.e. Pitbull modules),
please try to figure it out on your own, and then ask in the dedicated UI Help thread on elitistjerks.com.
I don't pay a monthly subscription fee to act as your in-game tech support.
2. When updating mods using WinAceUpdater, update WITHOUT externals.
-- While using external libraries clutters up your AddOns folder,
it saves you the trouble of updating a bunch of mods everytime
a library they use is changed (instead you just update the lib!).
3. In this version, backups of border textures are included inside of relevant mods' folders.
-- Updating typically overwrites my modified files, so use the backups to restore things as necessary.
--- i.e. Inside of Pitbull_Aura you will see "_border (Hal's Backup).tga"
--- cyCircled_Vol & GotWood also have backups
4. Helpful slash commands:
/rock - config menus for majority of mods
/msbt - Mik's Scrolling Battle Text
/necb - Natur's Enemy Castbars
/powa - PowerAuras
SLDataText and WitchHunt config menus can be accessed via the Interface -> Addons tab.
Good luck, have fun, hug kittehs, etc.

If you think this is a great UI, please give it a great rating. Thanks chums!
Meh, im swapping to a new UI. Hal just doesn't bother with this anymore.
There's various bugs, and the latest one is whats making me change.
For starters, the targets Debuff's borders NEVER EVER appear correct. I could copy / paste the back-up border file from the file in the Addons bit, but it just doesn't work anymore.
My raid warnings STILL do not show up. As a Sunwell raider I need them, and they just won't show.
Lastly, I just logged on now, to find PitBull has lost all its configuration. The size, the patterns, the layout, the everything is buggered.
This UI was great, now its just slowly fading away.
Yes this is a great ui and im having a hard time finding one of such quality after using this one.
I don't think this ui has been updated recently, meaning it may not be supported anymore.
I am also experiencing lag issues and also its very buggy since its using a lot of addons that are outdated.
I will try to update it and maybe put it up here as a remix, i want to wait for awhile to see if the OP comes back though, i don't want to seem like im stealing a ui.
ANSWERS to some of the below questions
1) yes you can disable the ALT shifting by typing /bar config first and going to the bar which is performing the shift. An easy way to find this is to unlock the bars. This will show you which bars are which. Then proceed to that bar in the configuration and go to button paging. There you can disable it.
2) to show level etc go to the pitbull configuration console.(right clicking on the fubar and then proceeding to that addon config tab). There you can go to "All units" and select it.
3) the raid warnings are screwing up for me too. i suggest removing them from your addons tab and downloading the latest ones. I also suggest you get littlewigs for heroics etc.
Hope this helps. If you guys want me to update this please let me know.
I am however experiencing MAJOR lag whenever I log the game though, FPS drops right down to about 5 and stays there. Bossmourn seems to be having/had the same problem.
Originally posted by Sorrowbone Anyone else Raid Warnings not showing up during a raid? They show up during parties, but during raids they do not.. :-/
As a Sunwell raider I could use some info on how to get the raid warnings to show again, as they can sometimes be vital to me.
So far I have everything working OK but have noticed two issues. One is that the timer on DOT's like shadow word: pain remain even after a mob is dead. The other is horrible stuttering with SLDataText running. I have disabled it but the lack of XP bar is annoying.
