Combuctor is a bag replacement addon designed to help the player find things in his or her's inventory as quickly and as easily as possible.

Included Addons
  • Combuctor - The main addon. Provides a replacement for both the bank and bag frames
  • Combuctor_Config - A load on demand configuration window
  • Combuctor_Sets - A default set of categories
  • Bagnon_Forever - Optional, stores inventory data about your characters so that you can view it later
  • Bagnon_Tooltips - Optional, adds ownership date to item tooltips


Using Combuctor

Filtering
  • The side filters should be fairly self explanatory. Click to filter to items that match the named category. When you click on a side filter, the bottom tabs will change to allow even finer control
  • Near the bottom left of the screen are filters for quality. Click the color of quality you want to show
  • Text searching: The filtering matches by name ("healing potion"), type ("axe"), and equip location ("chest")

Showing the bank and bag frames
  • The bank and bag frames are integrated into the interface by default. You can also set a keybinding for both of them in the keybindings menu.
  • /cbt bank toggles the bank, and /cbt bags will toggle the inventory window

Viewing the data of other characters
  • Character viewing requires that you have Bagnon_Forever installed (included in the download) and that you have logged onto a character with Bagnon_Forever installed.
  • To view the items of another character, simply click on your portrait and select the character you want to view from the dropdown

I've been having this issue for ages and went here to see if i was the only one, and it appears i'm not. I've just tried to narrow it down be enabling/disabling addons, and found that i can reproduce the problem with only Combuctor (including the Bagnon Forever and Bagnon Tooltips) and Handynotes enabled with at least some of the modules also enabled (i use CityGuide, FlightMasters and Mailboxes). I have not been able to confirm that it can happen without Handynotes, so there's a good chance that Handynotes is the conflicting addon. I've also noticed that if you do a /framestack, there will be a table on top of all button frames that is not there when the problem is not present, so i've used that to do the testing. I don't know if you can use the address of the table (which is displayed in the framestack tooltip) to retrieve a reference to the table and then look at it's contents to get some clues as to what it is?

For the first time, I had the same issue happen to me today. Also, the same fix in switching tabs worked to resolve it during the session. I wish I could shed some light onto what is going on, but I can't for the life of me figure out which addon is causing the problem.

I found Bankstack to be a bit of a memory hog, you could also try Genie as an alternative. Hope I don't get in trouble for posting links to Curse :P

There's no fix for it yet. It appears to be an addon conflict, but at a different level than most.

Instead of going back to the bloated ArkInventory, why not do a bit of searching and find this wonderful addon that can sort from bags to guild banks, if you wish?

Just wanted to give some feedback. I tried this bag mod and I must say I love the concept and would continue to use it but for one thing...

It doesn't allow for sorting. I will have to go back to ArkInventory even though it is a major pain to set up, but if you ever decide to add sorting to this bag mod I will be back.

Bank Frame Bug
I've been using combuctor for a long time, and have enjoyed it a lot. There is a problem with it however that has me finally frustrated. When I first open my bank, nothing is interact-able, and the tool tips on hover are default, not actual. IE something with a duration displays its starting duration instead of the actual time. I have to switch tabs, or sort by rarity or something to make the frame usable.

I very much appreciate the work you have done on this addon, but this issue has been around for many moons. Did I miss a fix for it somewhere in the posts?

Hi there,

Is there any way to lock the Combuctor's frame ?
(Also to hide the resize thing in the corner and the hover effect for text and icon if possibile. I want to get a closer-to-Blizzard's Unit Frame look...)

Any line(s) i can add into a file or something ? (If yes please explain how to ... i don't know any coding/coding structure at all)

is it possible do sort the general tab, so that the empty slots all are at the end?

EDIT: And is i possible, that u add a feature, that marked the new items? Maybe for the last 2 Hours or something else?

If this is possible, i will make a donation for u great work

I believe the answer to be: "you don't have separate gold containers for your inventory and bank" There are two displays in Combuctor, but that's mainly so you can see how much gold you have without having the inventory window open, say you're thinking about purchasing a bank slot.

Moving gold to bank....
I am unable to figure out how to transfer gold from my bag into my bank in combuctor. Perhaps I am not looking at it right, or I am just continually having one of those "duh" moments when I try it. I have looked over many of the past forum posts but was not able to find an answer.

Is there a way to put gold into the bank with Combuctor? I need to have all of my gold out of my bags - otherwise I spend it too freely. I am pretty sure the answer is completely simple and I am just missing it.
