Welcome to the new version of Atal UI and the release of my oUF_Atal layout. Thankyou to the many people at wowace and shadowpriest.com who inspired me, helped me, and put up with me through the process of finishing things I though I would never finish.
*If you are uncomfortable with editing code to change layout position and more of the unitframes, this compilation may not be for you*.
Meant to be a minimalistic user interface, with the most viewing area. Does not contain any raid mods such as boss mods, threat meter, damage meters. No combat text mod.
Instructions for Installation:
1) Back up your current wtf/interface/fonts folder.
2) Extract AtalUI to your desktop. Move the 3 folders inside into your Warcraft folder.
3) In the WTF folder, change YOURACCNAME, Yourrealmname, and Yourcharname, to your information.
4) Log in.
Ominimap's code has been redited a little to allow for no zone text and no tracking button.
Feel free to message me with any questions you might have. I'm not a lua wizard, so I can't promise I can answer all your questions, but I will do my best. Enjoy!
Change Log - AtalUI
6/16/08 - Completely new layout.
2/16/08 - New Map Border. Minor Placement Changes.
2/14/08 - No more SimpleMinimap!. It's now oMinimap, alt drag to move.
Mythreat threat meter added. Shows your threat percent ONLY.
Code added to unitframes to allow for alt-dragging and saving. However, the Tot frame is attached to the target frame.
2/12/08
Changed Baudbag buttons back to square instead of round.

thx for that nice oUF Layout. U can teach me the way to show Raid Target Icon s in your oUF Layout?
Your best bet is to visit the forums here:
http://www.wowace.com/forums/index.php?topic=10696.0. They will offer more help at some coding than I will. I haven't worked on this in a little while, and I only really added to it what I needed. Since I don't pve much anymore, I didn't need the icons. It shouldn't be too hard though. Good luck.

I'll admit I downloaded this package so that I could dissect it (but only 'cause I really liked what I saw and wanted to assimilate some of it). And I've been over your addons and it's not immediately obvious which one is changing your nameplates. In fact after disabling all of them I realize you've perhaps changed one of the Blizzard_xxxxxx files to accomplish this? I don't know, you've rendered me clueless.
One a side note: thanks, I've picked up a few cool new addons (like Geist and NeonChat) and some new ideas thanks to this nice UI.
Greetings from the European UI Forums anyway.
Great to see you! Greets from US forums Inside the interface folder, there is a targetting frame folder, you need that, and also there are some files inside the tooltips folder called nameplate glow that you would need to add to a tooltips folder of your own. Then just place them inside the interface folder(not in the addons folder). Hope that helps you.
No question is a stupid question, let me know if I can be of any other assistance to you!

Originally posted by Vranx Looks good, nice layout.
I see you made many oUF plugins as optional dependencies but then didnt include them in the download. Any reason they arent included?
They actually were included in the original toc of adalyn and I forgot to remove them. Thankyou for noticing. I want to add them someday, but I'm a little more slow at this since I am just learning.
I should say they aren't added into the code yet also.

It hasn't been abandoned, just put off for a little bit, it will probably get a makeover in the next week. Sorry it's taken me so long. Lots of other projects, and 2 kids running around
Originally posted by syrupk Try going to interface options and find the option to lock chat settings. See if thats checked or unchecked. That's most likely your issue. Let me know.
o gosh.. lol . that fixed it. thanks for help the syrupk.
Originally posted by Jinru Hey, I seem to have a problem resizing my chat window. After i Unlock the windows from options I can move the screen around but it won't let me change the size. I've tried to disable all the addons I thought were effecting the chat windows but that still doesn't fix it.

I haven't updated AtalUI yet for 2.4, but it is coming. Have a few ideas for SparkUI and then hopefully after that this will get an update. If there is anything super bad that needs to be fixed, please let me know and I will do my best to get it fixed.
