Hi - Jaknife should be saving its settings for each of your characters. I've been using it for 3 years now without a problem in saving, and this is the first time anyone has reported trouble like this. So maybe something is messed up with your jaknife preferences file.

In the saved setting folder for each of your characters there should be a jaknife.lua and jaknife.lua.bak file. Try deleting these files and restarting WoW. Maybe the file has gone bad for some reason, and doing this will create a new file with the default preferences in it.

I'm going to re-write some parts of Jaknife for WotLK, and I'll take a look at your request for making the different functions "deletable." It's a good idea, I just don't know how hard it would be to write the code for it.

PS: Knowing the map size can be useful if you often change the size ... like if you're a hunter who also does mining and you go back and forth a lot from closeup to faraway view. :-)
