GNOMECHARMER
Charm your friends with your very own raid icon tagger, the gnome way!
Combines some of the features of ezIcons and JasonTag into one tiny package. Cleaned up and tuned up for your pleasure!
RADIAL
The first part of the addon is the radial menu. Whenever you double-click a mob or a friendly player in the game world, you'll get a circle (radial menu) with all the raid target icons around the cursor. If the target does not have a raid target icon, moving your mouse over any of them will assign that icon to the target. If the target is marked, moving your mouse over that icon will un-mark the target. Clicking with your mouse inside the circle will dismiss the radial menu.
TAG BAR
The second part of the addon is the tag bar. It should show itself when you are grouped and the raid/party leader.
* Click to the far right on the bar to drag and move it around.
* Target a mob and click any of the icons to toggle marking that target with the selected icon.
* Click an icon and drag'n'drop it on a target to mark that mouseover target with the selected icon.
You can not turn off either of the features from in-game, you'll have to comment out the code right here.
DIMMED ICONS
The addon also tries to keep a live list of raid target icons used (only those set by yourself can be trusted, it doesn't scan targets) and dim out any icons used already so that the unused ones are more prominent in the bar and radial menu.

Optional Files - GnomeCharmer
Sorry, there are currently no optional files available.
Haven't been tanking often in WoW 2.4, so haven't reported this sooner. But there is a fairly large problem with the icon dimming; it doesn't work too well now that its using the GUIDs.
Using r66041. At the start of an instance, they are all undimmed. Then (for example) set the skull, the X and the moon on three different targets. Kill the first two, then attempt to reassign the skull onto the target that has the moon. The skull is dimmed in the bar, despite the original target being dead.
An even larger problem is that from that point on (out of combat and moving onto future targets), one or more of the symbols used previously remain permanently dimmed. Can't get them to go back to normal unless you reload the UI.
Would love to have the option to click on the radial menu also...I to am ending up with the wrong charms because I mouse over the wrong icon.
Also is there a way to turn off the tool tip? I have a mod that binds my tool tip to my mouse and I find that the tool tip is bigger then the charm bar so I can't see anything on the bar when I'm hovering over it.
Assign icons from the radial menu on click instead of on mouseover. Small UI scale + large screen resolution = frequent assignment of incorrect icons because I suck at mousing over the right colored speck.
Originally posted by Rabbit Could you live with a keybinding instead?
What about a command line option to enable/disable the bar, not just a key binding? I have enough keys bound and really don't need to be remembering another . If that's viable, also a command line option to put the thing on standby and reenable it (if that's even possible without...libraries).
On a warrior raid lead, its appropriate to have the bar up. Not so much if you are the assistant and not marking targets, yet are normally leading instance runs (for example).
One other thing that would be nice to see (not as important as the above, but still) is the ability to resize the bar. Heck, LUA pixel adjustment would be good enough (here anyway).
Originally posted by zecaguilherme I mean mouseover the gnomecharmer regular bar, so it doesnt show all the time when im group leader, but only when i need to mark a target
Originally posted by zecaguilherme Would it be possible to have a config to scale the bar and to show on mouse over? (I used to have a bar hidden on top of the target frame that would show on mouse over to mark targets)
I'm not quite sure what you mean with the mouseover stuff.
Do you want it so that when you mouse over your target frame the bar shows, and when you mouse out, it hides again?
Perhaps a keybinding to toggle showing the bar instead?
Great addon, having both radial and regular bar is great!

Even if we have to set the scale or the mouseover behavior in LUA would be great.
