Changes: Check the Change Log for the list of changes put into version 2.2. Small change - I switched from .RAR to .ZIP files. It seems some people are reluctant to go with .RAR.
Tacit UI is a lightweight compilation for any class. It has been tested extensively under raid environments, group environments, and PvP.
Tacit UI strives to be as informative and aesthetically pleasing as possible while maintaining low memory usage. Average memory usage is around 25 megabytes - we are striving to make it a little more lightweight.
There will be more versions coming (possibly in different colors and resolutions) in the future, so keep your eye out!
- Included Add-Ons -
AceProfit - Easily sell junk items at a vendor.
Advanced Tradeskill Window - A different, more intuitive tradeskill window.
ArenaPointer - Translates arena rating to points earned for the week.
Click the 'Download' link on the right side of this page.
Save Tacit UI to your desktop.
Open Tacit UI via WinRAR.
Drag both the Interface Folder and the WTF folder into your World of Warcraft directory.
Open the WTF folder, rename YOUR ACCOUNT NAME (All Caps) to your server name (i.e. TACITHUNTER).
Open your account folder, rename Your Server Name (i.e. Cenarius).
Open your server name, rename Your Character Name (i.e. Tacit).
Load World of Warcraft, login to your account, make sure "Load Outdated Addons" is checked.
???
Profit!

Change Log - Tacit UI v2.1 - Widescreen Only
v.2.2 -
Updated all add-ons, changed positioning of certain UI elements.
v.2.1 -
Replaced Big Wigs with Deadly Boss Mods
Replaced Pitbull raid frames with a sleeker Grid layout.
Removed unnecessary textures.
v.2.0 -
Completely new layout!
Updated all mods to be fully compatible with WoW version 2.4
Lots of small changes all around, check 'em out!
v1.4 -
Slightly changed layout:
1. Focus and Target of Target frames moved to more intuitive places. Focus is now directly over the Player frame, ToT is now directly over Target frame. Pet bar has been moved up slightly.
2. Omen reskinned, made to mesh with UI better.
3. Enemy cast bar increased in size and moved to a more "accessible" spot.
4. Moved / changed layout for Baggins to make it a little easier to access.
I've been playing Warhammer Online for the time being, debating on whether or not I want to come back to the game. It's likely, but I'm still not positive. I would ask that someone go ahead and update this for 3.0 until I have the chance to mess with a new UI. Good luck, all, and hope to see all of you in game this November!
I've been up all night working on the new version of 3.0. It's very similar to the screenshot I posted below, though there are some rather serious differences. I've changed a lot of add-ons, and added another two bars down at the bottom (the biggest complaint I received from that screenshot that not enough button slots were available, so that's been fixed).
I'm still in the process of working out the kinks on a few small things, but I don't see a reason why it shouldn't be up tomorrow or the next day.
However, understand that because I've taken a hiatus from raiding, the DBM and any raid-related things (besides the raid frames themselves) have not been configured. Rather difficult to configure them when you can't get inside a raid instance with a 25 man group. :P
Originally posted by Devasqua I like the look of 3.0.
Any idea when you might release 3.0?
Unfortunately, when I updated the add-ons to release 3.0, Curse's updater wiped my WTF folder dry, so I'm having to start over from scratch, including all the scripting I had in for eePanels and PitBull and whatnot. This means that I'll likely alter the look of the UI substantially in order to avoid complete boredom. Rest assured that it will hold true to the Tacit UI design philosophy, though.
Just as a note, I am currently working on a new release version of Tacit UI. My design philosophy has changed somewhat, I'm heading more towards a minimalistic set up. If too many people disapprove of it, I may consider making this a new UI and continuing to update the original as it sits.
Edit: I'm working on adding a button that will minimize the chat bars when not in use. I'm not terribly sure how I'll do this... but I'm positive I can figure it out. :P
As a note, the add-on in the middle is OPie, something I've fallen in love with. Get used to it, as it will be in all future releases of Tacit UI.

i know your stoped updating this UI and such but it looks reli nice and non cluttere
but i was wondering if you could help me
UI http://img225.imageshack.us/my.php?i...8202023hd3.jpg
any one know how to move them two bars in middle of screen and what they are?
I've actually decided that I won't be releasing any other versions of the UI at this time - I don't have a lot of time to dedicate to WoW anymore due to RL, but I'll still be updating the version I use most frequently.
Now, I am half-way looking for someone who can port it to 1280x1024 and other resolutions. So if anyone's interested in doing that, PM me.
I love the look of your UI but i was wondering if it came in a 1200x800 res or not? I think you said earlier you were going to release this but I dont see it.
Originally posted by Quenox 2.0 is missing durability indicator, what was used for that before? Looked like it was the same addon as the mail indicator, but I don't know which that is.
That is SL Data Text. Type /sldt and go to the Durability tab to enable it.
I was going for a bit more of a minimalist styled UI with this one, trying some new designs.
Right now I'm just trying to collect public opinion on the new style.

v2.0 is nearing completion. I'm having a couple of difficulties getting parents and anchoring to work the way I want them to, so I'm waiting until I resolve those issues to really get it released.
Sorry for the long wait, but I promise a screenshot of the new deal is coming soon!
