I got tired of seeing this error about a week ago and finally took a crack at fixing it... Simply deleting Line 259 seems to fix the problem. It looks like that string of code was just an old, overlooked bit from back when p3lim made the Cata version. /shrug


To clarify, open up pMinimap.lua in your favorite text editor, scroll down til you find line 259 and delete SetCVar('showClock', '1'). Save the file and all should be well.

Could anyone do a user updated fix? I would if I knew anything about addons :-P

pMinimap still works in 4.1 and 4.2 ptr. great lightweight addon

Since this isn't being updated and neither is the Cata alpha version from months back I would suggest you guys that want a lightweight, full featured replacement to take a look at wMmap here:

Hello. I love the addon however I was wondering if there was a way to edit the location of buttons. I like to keep my minimap at the bottom of my ui and with the LFG button in the lower left-hand corner the LFG popup indicating EST and filled spots drops down out of view. I'd like to move the LFG button into the upper right-hand corner. Is this possible without extensively modding the lua?

EDIT: Nevermind, I found the icon options in pminimap.lua. If you don't mind me making a suggestion, you should consider setting both the LFG and the Battleground icons to Top Right. Since you can not queue for one when you're already queued for the other, the icons will never overlap. I've tested it quite a bit and I haven't had a problem with both icons sharing the same location.

Hy, since the newest Version of WoW (4.0.3), my minimap shows an icon at the top left corner.

It looks like a magnifier, and when I click on it I can select wether to show Profession Trainers, Mailboxes or Low Level Quests on the Minimap.

I´d like to disable it, anybody got an idea how?

Opening pMinimap.lua with notepad or other text program, seach and delete this line;
SetCVar('showClock', '1')

That was enough for me to stop getting errors everytime i logged on.
