I decided to make a minimap addon, born out of boredom and frustration. Personally, I think it's quite good, I tried to code it to the best of my ability. It is clean, modular, efficient, and overall worth trying out.
Chinchilla - Minimap addon of awesomeness. *chewing sound*. It'll nibble your hay pellets.
Modules, can be independently enabled/disabled:
* Appearance: change opacity, size, border, shape (not just square or corner, you can do sides as well), etc.
* AutoZoom: automatically zoom out after a specified time
* Coordinates: show customizable coordinates on or near the minimap
* MoveButtons: move your buttons around the minimap
* Ping: Show who last pinged the minimap
* Position: move the minimap and frames around it (specifically the Capture bar, Durability man, Quest tracker, and Quest timer)
* ShowHide: show and hide individual minimap buttons as desired
* WheelZoom: use your mouse wheel to zoom in and out of the minimap

Sorry, there are currently no optional files available.
It is very strange... whenever I use the Chinchilla mod I can make the mini map any look i want and it works perfectly, as well as move it to a location of my choice. But as soon as i change zones, or open my bags the minimap jumps to the top left side of the screen... is there anyway around this bug or a way to save the position??? cause it is very annoying to have to move the minimap everytime i start teh game or do change zones :P

I just got it and I really like it (though I wish the chinchillas showed when you put the minimap in the upper right corner)
Anyways! I use Tom Tom and found a little problem...
When i hover my mouse over the circled waypoint in #1 it shows the tooltip ok but when i hover the circled arrow in #2 the map covers the tooltip. Is there any way to resolve this?
The Zone Location or the Title Box are will not hide. I have check and unchecked the boxes, reloading my ui after each time and nothing. It is really annoying =( Any idea what could be the problem?

EDIT: Never mind, after some more poking around, I found the way to remove it. Awesome mod btw, using it over simpleminimap which caused me to crash while crossing zones for some reason.

Ok, I have to take that back. After doing some research on it, looking for add-on's that could interfere etc. (other minimap add-on's) and also checking your bugtracker I also found titan panel and chinchilla to be incompatible. Although I run the newest titan version the "fix" seems not to be included yet. I hope this problem gets fixed by titan in the future (if they're the culprit).
So whoever runs into the problem should try to deactivate his/her add-on's to check first, preferably titan if existing, to see if that fixes it.
I'm not sure if it's a bug but when I change zones the location of the minimap changes. This happens no matter if I select locked or not in the options.
