Chinchilla   Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
I decided to make a minimap addon, born out of boredom and frustration. Personally, I think it's quite good, I tried to code it to the best of my ability. It is clean, modular, efficient, and overall worth trying out.

Chinchilla - Minimap addon of awesomeness. *chewing sound*. It'll nibble your hay pellets.

Modules, can be independently enabled/disabled:

* Appearance: change opacity, size, border, shape (not just square or corner, you can do sides as well), etc.
* AutoZoom: automatically zoom out after a specified time
* Coordinates: show customizable coordinates on or near the minimap
* MoveButtons: move your buttons around the minimap
* Ping: Show who last pinged the minimap
* Position: move the minimap and frames around it (specifically the Capture bar, Durability man, Quest tracker, and Quest timer)
* ShowHide: show and hide individual minimap buttons as desired
* WheelZoom: use your mouse wheel to zoom in and out of the minimap

Same prob with the quest tracking...if the author is at a lose on how too fix it perhaps they can look at spartanui....it doesn't seem to have that problem

I have a problem in that I move the minimap to the bottom of the screen, the problem is the tracking bars seem to reside below it, and I cannot see an option in the chinchilla to move that particular bar, I can move others, but not that one.
So I cannot track the achievements I want bcos I cannot see them

Is there a way to move it?
Is there another addon that will move it?

and no, I cannot move the minimap, every part of my desktop is allocated something and nothing can move for the minimap to be relocated

I hate having to use curse to update, when I'd rather keep with wow ui.

anyone know why the show/hide tick option for calender just wont work for me, doesn't seem to remember when I tick 'show'

Got a problem with custom borders in Chinchilla

Made texture sets: Cat and Kittyui

Cat has ears, Kittyui does not.

When I set border style to: Cat Round - ears show fine
When I set border style to: Cat Square - shows kittyui square texture
When I set border style to: Kittyui Round - shows fine
When I set border style to: Kittyui Square - shows kittyui square texture

So my wonder is why is Cat Square showing the Kittyui square texture?

All the files are named correctly :/

Chinchilla_Appearance:AddBorderStyle("Cat", L["Cat"],

[[Interface\AddOns\Chinchilla\Appearance\Border-Cat-Round]],

[[Interface\AddOns\Chinchilla\Appearance\Border-Cat-Square]])

Chinchilla_Appearance:AddBorderStyle("Kittyui", L["Kittyui"],

[[Interface\AddOns\Chinchilla\Appearance\Border-Kitty-Round]],

[[Interface\AddOns\Chinchilla\Appearance\Border-Kitty-Square]])

Vanishing options?

Since today's "patch", Chinchilla options have disappeared, my map has reset to default, and there's no way to change it. The addons screen shows it's active, but in game, there are no options for Chinchilla whatsoever, and the map stays reset. Every possible way to trigger the config options fails. Methinks Blizz borked something in the new little patch they threw out today.

Hopefully it's a minor thing, and can be fixed fairly easily.

Thanks for taking the time to read.

Very sweet addon. Cannot wait for the update.

Also chinchillas are awesome.

They're even more awesome when taking a bath in volcano ash. ^^.

I've been having a problem since 3.2 where every time I log out, Chinchilla resets all of my profile settings. Is this a known problem and is there any way that I can fix this? Or should I just wait for an update?

Thanks, love the mod!

If you're using Fubar with the Clock addon, this could be turning off the Calendar from the Minimap. You can deactivate this through the Fubar_Clock options.

Hi, just an addon request. I know I can change the size of my blip but is there anyway to change the color or make it blink with a hotkey or button. No matter what minimap you have the Blip can be hard to see in the Northrend snowy background.

I hide the location bar but it doesn't vanish.

Edit: Updated to new version on Wowace, location now disappears but not calendar and zoom out/in ?

Edit: All fixed

This addon has not even been updated (on wowinterface) for 3.0 and you're giving stack traces for 3.1?!

Sir, you are off your rocker.
