**NOTE: If you are upgrading for the first time since 2.4, PitBull now uses the new LibDogTag-3.0 library. As such, many of your DogTags will need to be rewritten. See the in-game DogTag help or the DogTag wiki page for more info.
Unit Frames of awesomeness. Woof. It'll bite your face off.
PitBull is my very own unit frames implementation.
What sets it apart from other unit frames, such as agUF, is that almost everything is run in a modular fashion. I have also paid extremely close attention to performance, especially with regards to frame recycling. For example, if you hide one frame, all its child frames go into a big recycle bin. If you show another frame after that point, instead of making its own new children frames, it will reach into the recycle bin and reuse them. This cuts down on the number of unused frames immensely.
It is also immensely customizable. Many have said that it's the new DUF.
Features:
horizontal or vertical bars
uses the DogTag-2.0 library to display and format information (comes with many presets to choose from)
config modes - you can set up your raid frames without needing to afk in AV
many, many, many options to choose from, to set up the unit frames of your dreams
Modules:
Aura - handles buffs/debuffs/weapon enchants. Can split buffs from debuffs, and set spacing/offsets
Banzai - adds aggro coloring to frames
BarFader - allows the health/power bars to fade when health/power is lost
CastBar - provides a cast bar for all frames
CombatFader - can fade out frames when not in combat
CombatIcon - shows the combat icon
CombatText - like scrolling combat text on every frame
ComboPoints - combo points display
DruidManaBar - display your druid's mana when shapeshifted
ExperienceBar - add xp info to your frame
HappinessIcon - display your pet's happiness
HealthBar - the health bar
HideBlizzard - allows you to hide/show default blizzard frames and buffs
Highlight - highlight a unit when you have it targeted
InteractLines - red and green lines connecting frames (know who's healing whom, and who's damaging whom) Removed for 2.4, as it wasn't working
Layouts - this module isn't used currently, but is still included atm (so don't think you should see those layouts in-game)
LeaderIcon - leader icon
MasterLooterIcon - ML icon
Portrait - can choose from 3d (portrait or full-body), 2d, or class icon
PowerBar - mana/rage/energy/focus bar
PvPIcon - pvp icon
RaidTargetIcon - raid target icons
RangeCheck - fades units when out of range
ReadyCheckIcon - displays ready check status on the unit frames
ReputationBar - watched faction info
RestIcon - rest icon
Spark - shows 5-second rule, energy regen timing, etc
ThreatBar - uses ThreatLib to compare threat with the tanks (communicates with other addons using ThreadLib like Omen)
TotemTimers - Shows Totem timers for the PitBull player frame (/pbtt for options)
VisualHeal - uses LibHealComm to display heal information on frames (communicates with other addons using LibHealComm like Grid)
r70475
Thanks to all of those working on the PitBull project.
Added TotemTimers module by Vangual (/pbtt for options)
Many bug fixes and feature tweaks/additions
Can change font for Combat Text module now
Library updates/upgrades
Add keybindings for changing raid group layout style
r66226.3 beta:
code fixes, forgot to embed LibTalentQuery for DogTag-3.0, removed InteractLines module, as it wasn't working properly in 2.4, DogTag library updates
r65868 beta:
**NOTE: This is a beta version. It now uses the new LibDogTag-3.0 library. As such, there may be bugs, and many of your DogTags will need to be rewritten. There is *no* documentation yet. Feel free to scan through the library's code or check out this thread.

I dont used pitbull anymore, been a very long time since i did, however, my other half love's pitbull and came to me today with the same problem you 2 guys had, it does'nt work and the rune icons are stuck on top of the pitbull player frame.
Firstly, i downloaded a rune addon MagicRune, so she's happy with that for now, untill pitbull fixes this issue. Secoundly, i downloaded a new updated Librock-1.0 file.
Although i did have to reset her char's pitbull windows as they screwed up, i now have her up and running, however, i did'nt use the Default profile.
Think that increases the chance of pitbull going wrong right now, so my sugestion for you to try is download the librock, make a new profile, get pitbull the way you like it, and then /reload your ui, set your other chars to use the same profile, and it should sort it's self. tempry fix for now, but like i say my gf's now got her pitbull back with the fixes i made.
1 final note tho, there is still an error in pitbull_Full which you will probably get notified on, tends to be on swaping the profile around so dont panic, when you have swapped the profile over and /reloaded it should be how you want it. I'll take a look at this more later. as i've done my job for now.
Pitbull suddenly stopped remembering which profile I'm using today. No matter what I load, as soon as I relog or /reloadui it reverts back to the Default profile.

Hello, I found someone with similair issues that i'm having on the WoWForums.
"Howdy All -
Does anyone else have trouble getting PitBull to properly save between sessions? Nothing major changes, but every time I log in I have to open Rock, go to PitBull, and tell the 'Party' frames to copy layout from the 'Player' frame; tell my 'Party Pet' frames to keep the portrait on the left, not the right; etc.
The broad strokes are always there, but a lot of the details seem to just not "stick" - I've tried everything I can think of through the options, saved layouts with custom names, do a "/rl" after every change to make sure PitBull is 'getting it', locked or unlocked frames, I even wiped my PitBull SavedVariables entirely and spent a couple hours (I know, obsessive much?) redoing everything - same issues.
Maybe I'm missing something obvious - help me Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope. "
can someone please help me save all settings when I log off.
Basically the 'blank space' i put on my focus frame doesn't save its settings properly after i log off so i have to Shift Right Click the frame then go to layouts and say copy from player frame. sadfase.
Hello m8 a little help im getting this when i die, it happends more in battleground coz i die more there, and it happened 1ce while i was in party and a friend died so his and mine UF got the same thing .Some help to fix it. Tnx http://i34.tinypic.com/i4gz6c.jpg http://i38.tinypic.com/2r2ceop.jpg
Alright, it seems that sometimes all of the Text options under Target disappear occasionally and I have to engage in combat with a target to get the options to reappear.
Secondly.. the Player debuff frames don't work at all, no matter what configuration I give them, which is a pretty big issue when needing to know what I got on me. I usually rely on Target of Target to check what I got on me (Maybe I have the Show dispellable only option on, but i'm pretty sure I don't).
And is there anyway to get rid of the health bar highlighting when I get snared/poisoned etc. It's nice to know that I got that effect on myself, but it makes the bars unreadable sometimes, just curious where the options are for that setting.
Lastly, very very nice AddOn, everyone talks highly of it but I could never get it to look like I wanted until someone showed an example that looked close to what I wanted.. So I modified that quite extensively for about 2.5 hours until I got what I liked, AMAZING AddOn for anyone that likes the ability to customize their UF, nothing compares.
(Oh, and could you tag on that this works with WotLK? Kind of threw me off when I was looking for the WotLK compatible version to post on.)
After installing 3.2.7 I have not been able to see any bars what so ever, and haven't been able to get into the configuration menu.... 3.0.0.0 still works fine... what's the problem?
I have a weird problem with pitbull's combo point text, it doesnt count the number of points correctly but the combo point dot/bar works correctly. I don't know if the problem is for druids only.

In the global configuration section lies the ability to unlock the frames if they are not currently moveable.
Actually the mod the poster is referring to in that screenshot is Grid.

I've used X-Perl for as long as I can remember. I've seen some complilations that use Pitbull that I would really like to have myself. For example how this guy has the raid frames in the center, they are small, take up little space but you can still make out the names of the players. http://s.wowinterface.com/preview/pvw17736.jpg
Anyway, I've installed Pitbull and I cant figure out how to do any configuration. With X-Perl you click the minimap button and all your frames show up and you can drag and resize etc etc. I cant find an option like that in Pitbull.. I'm certain it has to be there, I'm just a noob rtard that cant find it..
I would be grateful for any help or links to some configuration documentation. Thanks
