Still the best anti-spam chat addon that you can get, SpamSentry is another one that does the job that blizzard fails to do, wow can I say that in here? LOL

Great addon, however its consolidation feature falls over on busy servers like Blackrock. To give an example I've copied some trade chat just now:

The above was posted within about 1 second, BR trade chat often whizzes past so fast you cannot read it, and this kind of spam is the cause! The latest version of BadBoy was active when this occurred.

The fix would be to not just compare the current line with the previous line, rather to compare with say the last 5 lines. This would catch a great deal more of this repeat spamming that's going on when it overlaps with other peoples spam.

Hopefully that's not a big nor difficult change!

[edit] Another one is with multi line macros like the below pest who kept spamming (and quickly got added to my ignore list):

Just wanted to thank you for your diligent work with this addon. Update as much as you want; it makes WoW safer and less annoying for your faithful downloaders!

I can't express how much I appreciate your hard work. Anyone that complains about the need to install your frequent updates (given the ever changing face of goldselling/account hacking) is a fool. Your addon is a godsend.

Now, if only you could find a way to make the addon hide dead level one characters that are positioned to spell out gold selling websites in major cities! lol

Sorry in advance as there may be an increase in new BadBoy releases lately to try combat the latest ingame phishing scams. I highly recommend the use of an updater like Minion/CurseClient to keep easily updated!

Understandable, unfortunately there is currently no easy way to do this short of performing a Who lookup on every single person in trade which would slow things down considerably. I've requested Blizzard to add an API for me to instantly get player level of people that chat and I'm awaiting a reply.

so i'm not sure if you've started to try and crack down on this new thing, i've seen lots of spam bots for "selling [insert Ulduar BoE epix] whisper for info" and if you whisper it gives you a website or whatnot and the website I'm pretty sure basically is just a keylogger so they can raid your guild bank and sell all your ulduar epix also...and I thought susan was a pain in the ass...
