tekticles   Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
tekticles is a simple set of fonts, derived from ClearFont2.
I only ever used one set of fonts from CF2 (the Calibri set),
so I ripped CF2 down to it's bear ass and stripped off all the extra crap. This addon is what's left.

Is there anyway to change the size of the blizzard standard combat text, that appears over the enemies head?

I'v tried changing:

SetFont(CombatTextFont, NORMAL, 26)

but it's having no effect at all

disable chat in tekticles
I have switched from CF2 to tekticles, mainly because I like your other addons alot. I use prat to set the chat box to an outlined font. I probably could change your addon to add "outline" to the chatframe but I will still use prat for its chat settings and features, so, I changed this to have your addon stop changing my prat settings.

Love these font replacing addons, like ClearFont and Tekticles!
Tekticles even more, cause its more simple and light, good job!
Actually the only thing which can be compared by usefulness is Gun Silencer/Suppressor...

P.S. i use CalibriBold for all 4 fonts and it looks awesome and so clear.

is it just me or does it not change PLayer name text in game world anymore (i.e. the text hovering over player;s head) ?

just updated with latest version from here and noticed this along with smaller tooltip text which i remedioed by increasing font size in Cowtip but can't for the love of god figure which line in tekticles.lua controls the player names :<

EDIT: last thing i noticed is, the stack number is kinda bigger too. the binding's text in dominos isnt shifted out of frame anymore though which is a good thing

I'm experiencing some odd behaviour using tekticles together with PitBull.
I'm using Calibri Bold for all texts on my PB4 frames and the player and pet texts show as normal Calibri after login.
After some time or zoning the texts are set to Bold as they should be all the time

Uhh...it works just fine in WoW 3.1. It doesn't need an "update".

That is, unless you are too *&*^ing lazy to checkmark "Load out of date addons" at the top of the Addons box in your character screen.

on a side note which line is the one that the achievement black text (for the achieved ones) uses. i was going to try changing it to bold.

anyone know how to remove the fonts on chat frame. it seems to overwrite my prat fonts and i tried checking prat's remember font.

i looked in the .lua file but can't figure out which one it is.

All the font sizes are adjusted int he tekticles.LUA
Example:

SetFont(NumberFont_Outline_Med, NUMBER, 16, "OUTLINE")
The underlined number is what you'd change, this applies to everything else in there, you just need to figure out which ones you want to change, and make appropriate changes to the right numbers.

great addon for replacing CF2, but I'm having the same problem of lack of in game configuration. I only want to enlarge the general font size in game, but have no clue how to edit the tekticles.lua in order to make it! can anyone please just copy the lines from the file which are basically responsible for the fonts size?
