"Do I Know You?" - The question asked by countless WoW players when looking for a group, someone to trade 400g of enchanting mats to, or just chatting in the Barrens.

This addon helps you and your guild keep track of those people, by storing your opinion of them and a note, and making this information easy to see by adding it to your tooltip and automatically informing you when interacting with others.

The real power behind this is guild usage. This addon uses the guild shared data channel to share your opinion of other players, so you can be informed of other players without ever seeing them before.

Features:
- Set notes for players of both factions
- Display rep and notes in tooltip
- Share data with guild
- Notes saved across characters, pug with one, avoid on another!
- Auto-query other players when interacting (grouping, whispering, trading)
- Adds a rep indicator to players' names in chat! (Updated to work with other chat addons)
- View rep + notes on your friends list and ignore list, and colour-coded names in LFG/LFM.
- Data browser to search your saved data

Includes ruRU and zhTW localisations.

Sure - there are other addons out there for the same purpose, but not a single one which could replace DIKY ... it would be a shame if it wasn't updated anymore. If I could I would do it myself, but I have no idea how to program addons. So anyone else? Any heroes who are willing to rescue DIKY? Pretty Please??

Seem that the author is discontinuing it (http://www.wowace.com/projects/do-iknow-you/#comments). If anyone is picking this up please let me know as there are a couple of API functions I would like added. If not, I may look at continuing this myself. Linty

Now, I was wondering if there was anyway to get this mod to check who in your database is online. For example, it would be wonderful to ask DoIKnowYou to do a series of /who [name in database with +1 rating] and have it return to me the names of people currently online and rated +1. It may be that this functionality just isn't possible, but it sure would be useful when looking for quality subs. Thank you again for a great mod. But it should be mostly ok. I'm using it together with Bad Apples to notice me of good, bad and ignored people as soon as (or before!) I interact with them... Very helpful. Sorry, I don't know how I misunderstood your question in the first place. If you disable the option "Send addon messages" then nothing will be sent out to anyone ever. I hope that clears things up

The information is only shared on the guild data channel - so if he's not in your guild, he won't see it.

There is no filtering in place for guild members, if you set notes about guild members they will be able to see them. The notes are not attributed to an author in the interface, but saved variables would reveal that if the subject went looking.

I'm finding more guys on my side I'd rather note. Obviously, just becuase I think a guy is a tool... I don't neccesrily want him to know that if we're in a group togther and he happens to have the mod too... So.. long story short... are notes shared with the particular target of which it is about. and I'd like to make sure about turning the sharing off.. Does that stop all sharing? thanks, like the mod so far.. nice and light.

The incompatibility with addons such as Prat and Chatter ultimately lies with DoIKnowYou - the indicators next to the names of other players was a quick feature I added in without a lot of testing, and only works on parsing the text shown in the chat frame if is not modified. It is however something I have on my to-do list very soon, and I will be looking at Prat and Chatter specifically for compatibility.
