Blipstick   Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Blipstick is a simple addon to change the minimap blip textures. I wrote it because I didn't like the big huge '!' and '?' Blizzard used, so I adjusted the sizes a bit. Since then I've added in blips from other addons and created a config panel so the user can select the set of blips they like.

I welcome any new blip textures, just open up a bug on GCode and attach the texture.

It seem that Blizzard changed something again with minimap blips. All the blips are small, no matter which textures are selected. Can this be tweaked back?

is it possible for you to add party/raid to this addon? since blizzard has fixed the issue with blips scaling (or, no longer scaling) with the UI size, they are back to be huge. so, the party/raid blips are enormous on my minimap, and is driving me insane. greatly appreciated!

i cannot seem to find a way to make blipstick settings to stay everytime i log off the game i have to reselect everything i set up the previous time i was online .. am i missing something?

The short answer is no because this information is not accessible to the API because the dots are rendered with the mini-map.

I wonder if this is possible but am not sure so I am making a request to see.

Can you make it so that when a blip (ie a quest giver, mining, herb, tracking node, etc) appears on the minimap that there is a audible sound? of course it could be config to make the sound for which type blip user wanted as well as the sounds for each blip type. This would be awesome!!

Hey fellas I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction.

I was wondering how I can make my own blips and I noticed someone uploaded a .tga file for you at that link. I have no idea how to create a .tga file. I do have an older verison of Photoshop, but haven't used it much at all. My level of expertise is low to medium as I just use Photoshop to spiffy up forum sigs with fluffed borders or to use alpha for see through effects.

So in short,
1. How to make blips.
2. How to put them in a format to submit.

the inclusion of LibDataBroker-1.1 in this ZIP archive and TOC seem to be incorrect. in fact, the LibDataBroker-1.1 sub-folder seems to be empty. i am catching LUA errors on load.
