Curious as to why this thing spouts off messages when I'm not the tank, and is spitting out party says of what the tank is doing? Gets annoying quick and I believe can be turned off, but what's the reason behind it? Using it to announce my stuff makes sense, but if several get this addon it'll spam it like nuts if we're all in the same group, which is what happened last night when all 5 of us had it, lol.

I guess what I should be asking is... when it does spit out that message... it doesn't say resisted, or anything like that... so is it just telling the party that whoever the tank is used that ability?

I'll mess with the options later to disable that particular feature, I want it to only say something when it's one of my own abilities, this way when I release my updated BornabeUI, it doesn't cause guild-wide spamming to each other. Got a few full guilds using the UI now, lol.

cool announcer. I needed something that announced when I used a skill and made an interrupt. I tried it last night and I was wondering, how can I turn off the announce of my skill use fading? Also, how can I turn off non warrior class skills so I don't see it spamming pally tank skills =/ ?

Or do it the better way and just add it in the mod . Otherwise this is less "Tank Battle Warnings" than it is "Warrior Battle Warnings".

For example, CastYeller2 uses spell IDs to assign different abilities to different calls. Which is the standard way to do such things now.

How come you don't have a screenshot to show the addon in action? It's the only reason I haven't given this a try yet.

If you have no warriors to use this mod with just change this:

local TBW_gain_LastStand = "+++ Last Stand Activated +++";

in the .lua file to this:

local TBW_gain_LastStand = "+++ Survival Instincts Activated +++";

That'll fix ya up.

You can open the .lua file in notepad.

Works well for my druid. However, it lists "Survial Instincts" as "Last Stand". Since i have no warriors, i assume that both these abilities are similar in nature. Is it possible to update it so that it lists the proper name for us bears?

Sorry, but I don't get it, maybe because you dont get any feedback when you try to setup some channels. IMHO some addon responses would help a lot.

1. How do I config that warnings are just postet in my group channel?
2. How do I config that warnings are just postet in my raid channel?
3. How do I config that warnings are postet in my group AND in my raid channel at the same time?

This might be a stupid question but does it work for Feral Druid Tanks as well? Your description suggests that it is only for Warriors. If this is so, can you or anyone suggest an addon that would work for Druids?
