20400.1
- Release version
- Bar names should be adjusted in BF as bars are added, deleted or have thier name changed.
beta.2
- Some improvements on the way bar names are handled (not perfect yet)
- The pet bar should now display the Trinity version of "AutoCast"
beta.1
- Initial release
- This plugin overrides Trinity Bars' skinning engine. Using this plugin you are only able to use skins that Button Facade has available
Originally posted by Maul Well, it looks like an error with having autobar installed. The next TB2 update I will be removing that file as I will no longer attempt to let TB2 skin other addons, since it can now be done via Button Facade.
I will have a TB2 update soon with the fix.
Ah, I did not know that TB skinned other addons, but that explains why Autobar automagically changed everytime I changed TB's cyCircled skin. Thats not a feature I'd want from TB, so glad you are removing it.
I've downloaded the updates, I'll test things tonight and holler if any problems.
Pet Bar was not listed in the ButtonFacade options, I like to use a different skin for my pet bar than for the rest of them. Currently the only way to do that was to set all bars to the one I want the pet bar to be then change the rest individually.

Don't know if this is related or not but with AutoBar enabled it breaks button editing, disabling/uninstalling AutoBar fixes this.
Originally posted by Gaenjin Well, I removed all my CyCircled, installed BF and trying to stick the VolII skin onto my Bar1... getting hit with:
Code:
[2008/05/06 02:40:35-21-x1]: TrinityBars2-20400.7\skins\buttonSkinPlugins.lua:58: attempt to index field 'styles' (a nil value)
TrinityBars2-20400.7\bars.lua:5461: in function <Interface\AddOns\TrinityBars2\bars.lua:5442>
TrinityBars2-20400.7\bars.lua:6681: in function `Loader_OnEvent'
<string>:"*:OnEvent":1: in function <[string "*:OnEvent"]:1>
That buttonSkinPlugins.lua file is actually in the TrinityBars2 folder, but I am not sure which file's comments to report this on, since its only occuring after trying to convert to ButtonFacade. I have the Trinity Bars 2.0: Button Facade Plugin installed.
Update: Actually I am getting the error on log in, with a new character, without loading a profile or doing anything with Trinity Bars or BF.

Mind you the support complete throws the skinning responsibility to Button Facade. The only downside I see at this point is BF does not handle coloring of the skins, which in Trinity Bars coloring is handled via it's own skinning engine. Since this plugin replaces Trinity's skinning engine, there is no coloring
It should be noted that cyCircled does handle coloring of the button elements, so hopefully this is a feature that is forth-coming.
