Figuring out a good buyout price when posting auctions can be tedious and time-consuming. If you're like most people, you first browse the current auctions to get a sense of how much your item is currently selling for. Then you undercut the lowest price by a bit. If you're creating multiple auctions you're bouncing back and forth between the Browse tab and the Auctions tab, doing lots of division in your head, and doing lots of clicking and typing.
Auctionator makes this whole process easy and streamlined. When you select an item to auction, Auctionator displays a summary of all the current auctions for that item sorted by per-item price. Auctionator also calculates a recommended buyout price based on the cheapest per-item price for your item. If you're selling a stack rather than a single item, Auctionator bases its recommended buyout price on the cheapest stack of the same size.
If you don't like Auctionator's recommendation, you can click on any line in the summary and Auctionator will recalculate the recommended buyout price based on that auction. Of course, you can always override Auctionator's recommendation by just typing in your own buyout price
With Auctionator, creating an auction is usually just a matter of picking an item to auction and clicking the Create Auction button.
New in version 1.1
Auctionator now allows you to quickly post multiple auctions for the same item. For instance, if you have 4 stacks of 20 Golden Fish Sticks in your bags and you want to auction them off as 16 stacks of 5, you would:
1. Create a stack of 5 in your bags
2. Drag that stack of 5 to the Auctionator window
3. If you like the recommended buyout price, do nothing. Otherwise, change the buyout as you would if you were just creating a single auction.
4. Click the Create Multiple Auctions button
5. Click Okay in the dialog that pops up.
Change Log - Auctionator
1.0.1 - fixed a minor bug that sometimes caused the buyout price to be lower than the starting price
1.1.0 - added Create Multiple Auctions. Allows users to quickly create multiple auctions for the same item
Zod Damn... nice piece of work... exactly what I was missing when I got rid of auctionator and the old KC Items addons... brilliant work for your first addon

Not sure why it's having problems with wowecon (a great mod, btw). Are you using the latest version of wowecon? From what I can tell they no longer integrate their tabs into the AH window but they have their own window.
I only use the basic version of wowecon so perhaps the premium version is different, but even on their website it looks like the tabs are now in a separate window.
It's actually intentional that I don't use the money format for the total price column. I know it seems a bit inconsistent but I think it helps to draw the user's focus to the more important column which is the item price.
I too have a request, hopefully it should be fairly simple. Could you make the column for the Total Price appear in the money format too, as the pricer per item column does?
Love the addon!

hey love the addon, but if i have wowecon active while i use this, wowecon's watchlist window gets overlayed with the auctionator window, even thought the tabs align themselves correctly. (eg. the tabs are. BROWSE, BIDS, AUCTIONS, WATCH LIST, PRICE ALERTS, AUCTIONATOR, in that order if i click the auctionator tab the window is blank but if i alt+right click an item into the auctionator tab the watch list tab opens and has the info from both addons in a jumbled mess
Sometime this week I will be releasing a version that allows you to post multiple auctions for a particular item. The feature that Tekkub describes is a bit more involved although I can certainly see how it would be useful - gotta' mull that one over for a while.
In any case, I will be continuing to improve Auctionator over the coming weeks and months. Thanks for all the feedback.

It's taking all my restraint not to look in your code... must... just... use... addon...
Anywho, I'd like to second the "mass auction" cries. I would love for a view similar to AuctioneerAdvanced's Appraiser view... show me all the auctionable items in my bag. Let me toggle off the ones I don't want to sell (water, etc)... then with one click let the addon scan all the current item prices for the stuff I want to sell. in the item list show all the prices you plan on using, and with a click let the user see all the auctions of that item and override. Once the user is happy, one click and all the items selected are put up for sale.
I ask for this because that's exactly how I work. When I'm selling gems I know the generally acceptable prices for each, but I want to undercut the current prices (or markup the average if noone else is selling). So I'd want to see at a glance the price for every gem, fix the ones that are way out of wack (or simply not post that item this time if the market is screwed), and then push them all up en-masse.
The second I actually used it in the AH I was instantly hooked.
But the 2 features mentioned, the mass auction and the price database are great future ideas.
Can I also suggest a keybinding that would automatically place item on the AH? Say you press Shift+Alt+Click Item it will search the AH for the best sell price and also hit the create auction button.
But keep up the great work. For a first addon is sure is an awesome one. .. can't wait to see what else you can come up with for mod ideas
--- EDIT ---
Another suggestion. Can you make it so when it does a search for items with names like "Hefty Battlehammer Of The Whale" it removes the "Of The Whale" part?
Posting multiple auctions quickly is definitely on my list for a future version. Also want to keep a bit of history so that I can recommend a price even when there are no current auctions.
Posting multiples of the same item as Scotte44 requested would be a huge feature to have.
I would also like to have some way to control the pricing model. I want to be able to have the bid and buyout set to 1 silver less than the current lowest priced, with my auction durations being 12 hours.
I like it too, nice job. The only thing missing is an option to auction multiple items at once. For example, if I put a spellcloth up to auction and I have 3 more in my bags I would like the option to put up all or some of them at the same time.
