Mafariun's Elements Mover   Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Due to lack of time and interest, i have stripped the addon down to its most important functionality:

What this addon now does:

It moves the actionbars to the positions seen to the right in the screenshots.It also reskins the ui elements to a dark black colour. I plan to keep this part of the addon updated throughout future expansions.


The reskining of the actionbars and movement of the unit frames/minimap have been removed due to the extent of the bugs. Note: my current ui that i play with at the moment still looks as good as the screenshots to the right. I have managed to substitute these changes with addons such as CT unit frames, blizzfacade etc.

How to install:

Due to the nature of this addon, you have to install it slightly different from most addons. Once you have downloaded the addon, extract the interface folder into the wow directory. Copy over files if asked to.

V4.0-Gloss added to minimap and varioyus bugs fixed, i.e party bug and player bug.
V2.2-Lion side art added.
V2.1-Quest Tracker support, Buff/debuff frame fixed.
V2-Code for actionbars completely changed, code for castingbar added, code for buff frames added, minimap and party frame position altered.
V1.1-Small tweaks with party frames.
V1-Released, basic code done.

I am abit confused why you would want to use my addon if you are using an addon such as simple bar. The movment of the actionbars in my addon is core to its funcionality. Both addons will simply not funciton together as they both ask wow to do the same thing in a different way and thus conflict.

Is there anyway to make this compatible with Simplebar? or a similair addon. I've installed this and simple bar but i got a lua error, can't see my stance bar and its overlapping 2 bars.

I really and truly love this UI. I'm having some problems with it though, I love the skin for the mini map and all, but I cannot seem to find a way to get rid of the position of the minimap or move it myself, I tried installing the lite version and same problem, minimap is still in the bottom left. Due to playing wow on a laptop my screen is not very big, I've to change the UI scale to the smallest to be able to see the minimap. When I change my UI scale to the smallest it is hard to read most thing etc.. It's rather annoying. Is there ANY way you could upload a version without the buffs and minimap being touched what so ever, where everything is how it is now but where the minimap and the buffs are still default? Im playing a DK and i love this mod.
But the Aura-actionbar is under the pet-actionbar

Any way to move the pet action bar (im unholy and i always have my pet its really annyoing, but i cant play without that addon )

Im having issues with removing the addon.
i am trying to test out a few different ones, like this one a lot but still want to mess around.
but when i removed it it didnt reset my ui back to how it was suppose to be.
even checked for saved variables but didnt find one for the addon...
not sure what to do....


*edit* Its only on the one character that i was messing with, my other character i only logged in and out on reset just fine.

hi i have now quit wow so i am no longer upodating this addon. You want my custom made unit frames skins yes? you can find them in the download folder in interface NOT addons folder.

Love the power of freeware
Awesome job with this mod guys. Only 1 issue I seem to be having as a druid the bars seem to separate from the icons that sits above the normal action bar (don't know if this is a mac thing or what, but it shouldn't be platform specific since it's all simple LUA, no?). If you want a screen shot PM with email to send to, but either way, awesome job on this.

The use of trinity bars bypasses the issue nicely ;-)
