Cartographer QuestInfo   Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Cartographer_QuestInfo is a quest library module for Cartographer.

Cartographer_QuestInfo has built-in database for quests, no need to record quest first, you get the info instantly.
  • Provide info for nearly every quest. Quest info are data mined from wowhead/allakhazam/wowbox website, so it is almost complete and up-to-date.
  • Provide quest start and end npc or item info, you get the name and location.
  • Provide quest objective info, you get the mob level and location.
  • Provide quest series info.
  • Make quest log double wide.
  • Add quest level to quest log and NPC dialog.
  • Works on enUS, frFR, deDE, esES, koKR, ruRU, zhCN, zhTW client.

Talking will this work with Cartographer 3?
When I use Cartographer 3, I get a dependency error. When I switch back to Cartographer 2.54 I don't get that error.

Will you be updating QuestInfo to work with Cartographer 3?

Great addon, I use it instead of Quest Helper because it takes up MUCH less memory.

This causes an error on one computer (stops all chat) but on the other computer it works fine.

Both computers have same mods but it will not work with out causing error by blocking chat.

when i check "load out of date addons" it stays forever checked...

wonder why yours does not?

Unhappy Updates?
Ever since the new 3.1 Ulduar patch, the Cartographer QuestInfo addon isn't working. The addon area says it's out of date. Any chance you could fix it?

I can't go on without the help of this addon. Seriously! lol It's the most helpful addon I've ever tried. It's a real pain that every time I log on or switch toons, I have to go into the addons area and check-mark the "load out of date addons" box.

It is possible, and actually had been done in early version.

The problem is there is no clear definition between different kind of quest, say, if a quest require you to kill 10 mobs to collect something from them, should I label it as kill quest or collection quest?

Another problem is not every source I data-mined has the quest type information, thus the type will not be accurate among quests.

Custom Icons
Hey, wonderful addon. Much nicer than QH if you ask me. But I was curious. Are there any plans to add more customization to the addon? Like for icons on the map and such? Like say, If a quest is a collection quest, it will have a pink icon, Kill quests have red icons, And so forth?

1. How hard would it be to add Quest Data into the Tooltip?

2. I do like the crazy taxi arrow when you plot a way point..but what about an arrow in the minimap..or an ant trail..or is your stance on that if you value things like that use QH or Carbonite
