Dominos is an action bar addon intended to do the following:
Reuse as much standard blizzard action button code as possible.
Contain a relatively minimal feature set
Be easy to use
Be stable
It includes the following features:
10 action bars, pet, class, menu, and bag bars. Each one has customizable settings for padding, spacing, columns, scale, and opacity.
A movable experience/reputation bar.
Customizable paging. You can switch pages on: action bar pages, modifier keys, forms, and targeting.
Customizable show states. You can tell your bar under which macro options to show.
Fading bars. You can set your bars to fade out to a certain opacity when not moused over.
The ability to customize showing empty buttons or not
Full button facade support
Keybound support
Sticky frames
The ability to move buttons in combat
Buff and debuff highlighting (optional)
A movable casting bar (optional)
A movable roll frame (optional)
Configurable right click targeting
Configurable self cast key settings
Possess bar support
...and will probably not end up with the following:
A stats bar
A minimap bar
True variable length bars
Here's how you use it:
To see the current list of slash commands, type /dom ? or /dominos ?
To open up the options menu, either go into interface options, or type /dom
To move bars around, either go into the options menu and press the "Enter Config Mode" button, or type /dom lock
To bind keys, enter binding mode via /kb or /keybound, or press the "Enter Binding Mode" button in the options menu.
...and this is why I wrote it:
I have significantly less time to code now than I did previously. Dominos is intended to be easier to maintain.
I wanted to see how much I could do while maintaining compatibility with the standard action button code.
I'm not entirely happy with the direction I took with Bongos3. I added features that I do not see myself using personally, and thus feel that those features will be neglected and bug ridden.
Hold down alt while moving a bar to disable sticky bars
You can use the following to add extra functionality:
RedRange - Colors action buttons red when out of range
ButtonFacade - Allows you to change the look of the action, pet, and class buttons
Change Log - Dominos

1.3.1
* Fixed a bug where the experience bar would not register events if not watching a faction and not set to always watch experience
* Added in Chinese localization (thanks xuxianhe) to Dominos_XP. All localization files were moved to a localization directory. This change will require a restart of wow.

* Updated LibKeyBound.
* Added in an experience/reputation bar, Dominos_XP. Its basically the same as the Bongos one, except it cannot be made vertical, but has shared media support.

1.2.2
* Fixed an issue with right click self cast when not paged on a bar with paging enabled.
1.2.1
* Fixed an issue with ButtonFacade skins not saving properly
1.2.0
* Renamed any buttons that were still named Mangos

1.1.1

* Made the buff highlighting code more generic. It'll work on any standard action button that is loaded after it.
Perhaps this is a long shot, but is there anyway Dominos can seamlessly work with default action bar keybindings? It's always a pain when patches break an action bar and I'm forced to rebind everything to the default action bars -- similarly, it's a pain to bind everything from default action bars to Dominos.
Edit: What I mean to say is that if I have action bars bound normally, Dominos shows the key press but doesn't display the key binds. I'd like for it to be transparent (i.e. show the bindings).
To rephrase again: I'd love to have Dominos use Blizzard's default bindings for the 5 normal actionbars.

In bongos, I could actually tell when growl was on or off. It behaved like the button inside the spellbook. In dominos, it looks like the growl button is always "yellow", so I can't tell if it's on or off. By yellow, I mean the corners of the button are yellow. I don't mean spinning yellow light or something. Am I moron? Is there a way to get dominos, to show on the petbar, whether growl ( and others ) is enabled or not?
Excellent mod, btw. Bongos was awesome, but this is thinner, more focused, and much more to my liking. Keep up the awesome work!
Edit : oh yeah, I can't get the 1,2,3,4,etc of actionbar 1 to show up. I have show binding text enabled, and I see C1,C2, etc for the petbar, but no numbers on actionbar 1. Two issues, I know, but, hey...
Very bizarre... The petbar buttons are spinning yellow like they should be. I restarted WoW... must've triggered something.
I still don't see the numbers on the actionbar1 buttons though

Originally posted by hubutz is there currently a place where i can find all the slashcommands instead of using /dom ?.
tbh i find it quite hard to read all of that stuff in the chatframe - and as I'm not in wow currently (and don't have access at work) I'd like to write down some commands to do the work at home faster then
another question (a missplaced and noobish one), as the link to buttonfascade doesn't work. i've never used that. i've just have to copy it to my addon folder, yes? but how to i configure it then? /buttonfascade hasn't worked last time i tryed that out

Tuller, thank you for making such a great addon. The biggest help is the way you can SO EASILY assign hot keys for your buttons by mousing over them. WHY hasn't blizz stolen that from you I have no idea. Thanks for the reply!

Well done on superb work!
Thanks :P

I installed Dominos and it works fine, except my latency bar has disappeared and I can't figure out how to get it back. Can anyone help with this?
Dominos does not include a latency bar. In Wrath/WoW 3.0, the classic latency bar is actually removed and is replaced by a tooltip in the game menu micro button.

So, when I first used Dominos with my warrior, Dominos did set my Battle Stance to the Bar 7... when it used to be my bar 1 (the first action bar available by default). So I had 2 bars with the same icons, and I litterally lost a whole action bars.
I had to manually set the Battle stance to bar 1, and then move every spells from the bar 7 to the bar 1, and from the bar 1 to the bar 7, and then I had a workable 3 stanced bars.
This is not a bug. Dominos's defaults for bar 1 are set to mimic the main actionbar in the stock interface, which has this same behavior. Your solution (disable paging for one of the warrior stances) is the proper one for getting back that "lost" bar.

Hey everyone, loved bongos2!! Want to make sure i'm ok for the expansion and next patch so i've tried Dominos, the one thing i'm missing big time from bongos 2 is the "One Bag" option for the bag bars. I use a one bag mod and do not want to see all the bags on my screen but just one. Is there a way to do this in dominos??
By popular demand, this option is present in the Wrath version. (1.5.x+)

How can I change the number of bars to allow 15 buttons per bar? I usually use 7 bars with 15 buttons each on them. Thanks!
In Dominos 1.3.x: /dom numbars 8
In Dominos 1.5.x: /dom numbuttons 15 or /dom numbars 8
Either command will reset your actionbar layout.

I found a problem with the warrior. The stance bars do not act normally.
You see, every other class who are using stances also have a "not in a stance" state. Druid in cat form or bear form can also be in caster form, so not in a stance. Same with the Shadow priest or the the stealthed rogue.
But warrior is always in a stance, be it Battle, defensive or Berserk, he do not have a "not in a stance" state. But Dominos do sets the bars like if there were one.
So, when I first used Dominos with my warrior, Dominos did set my Battle Stance to the Bar 7... when it used to be my bar 1 (the first action bar available by default). So I had 2 bars with the same icons, and I litterally lost a whole action bars.

can you write range indicator too they say redrange hogs cpu
edit:
also the bagbar, theres no option in Addon to toggle it on/off. I hide it but can you make it also like castbar where you can disable it in Addons menu
