INTRO
Hi there. This is my Diablo themed interface for World of Warcraft, called Roth UI. Enjoy.
Since more and more leaked downloads of my interface appear on the internet, please remember: There is only one official download of the Roth UI. And that is this one, on wowinterface.com. All other downloads available are leaked and are not officially supported by me. Only this one is ZORKIFIED!

INSTALLATION GUIDE
  1. Open your World of Warcraft folder.
  2. Backup your "Interface" folder. (Copy it somewhere save!)
  3. Now: Delete the "Interface" folder inside your World of Warcraft folder.
  4. Download Roth UI and save the ZIP-file to your Desktop.
  5. The ZIP-file includes a "Interface" and a "Fonts" folder. Copy both folders into your World of Warcraft folder.
  6. Start World of Warcraft. (If you had it open while copying, restart it now to load the textures.)
  7. Before logging in make sure all the addons are activated correctly.
  8. Login and have fun playing!
FAQ - PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING!
  1. If you have used any of the addons I'm using before. Make sure you clean your Savedvariables. Do not delete the WTF folder but clean the Savedvariables inside.
  2. Got huge fps lag/hickups in combat? Read this FAQ
  3. Do not use any auto updater for addons in this compilation, they can mess stuff up
  4. If you don't like the scaling or something doesn't fit, hit the escape-key while in-game and go to the graphic settings. Now activate the UI-scaling checkbox and move the slider. Hit OK and see what you got. Move it until you like the settings.
    Same goes for the chat. If it doesn't fit just right-click the chat-tab. Unlock the chat and move it around until you feel comfortable.
  5. How to change / disable the fluid orb animation system? Read this FAQ

  7. Colors inverted?! Read this FAQ
  8. Only want to change the scale of the bottom bar panel and the actionbars? Read this FAQ

ORBS ONLY
Maybe you are just a fan of the orbs and don't want all the rest. Go check out rBottomBarStyler. It provides various Diablo themed background panels.
ORB ANIMATION SYSTEM
With 4.009+ the fluid animations have returned to Roth UI. You can either either use one of 23 preset animations or enable class and powertype coloring. Every class has preset animations in the config.lua you can change them to your liking. Have fun playing around with the settings. You can rewrite specific config settings per character.

Example. If you want to disable the raidframes for your healer but not your DPS you can do that in the charsepcific.lua by setting the raid show variable to false for your healer.

The config is the default setting for all chars. The charspecific file can rewrite some config settings per character. (or class, whatever you choose)

Enabling/disabling full addons per character can be done in the Blizzard addon list. You can enable/disable addons per character.
Hello, let me start off by saying I absolutely love the UI and don't want to live without.
I would, however, like if you could tell me how I disable the raidframes so I can just use blizzards standard raidframes for healing. If you could please explain it to me like I'm 5 years old, that'd be great - I'm really terrible at understanding those codes and whatnot.

Have an idea! Need help with it, anyone got any ideas?

Hey Zork, or anyone with some experience, I love the Diablo skin, there's just one thing missing I would love to see: a border artwork a la Diablo. I would love to have my Roth UI then have chat and other things bordered by something similar to that of the target frames, something I could put on KGPanels and put around everything..Imagine a minimap, a chat window, recount and any other with the targetframe border, it would look sweet!
Can anyone help?! Thanks in advance! ^^

The buff / debuff icons are rFilter3. To move them use:
/rfilter unlock

The stance bar is movable via:
/rabs unlock

xCT has it's own config file. Check the xCT/config.lua and enable the damage display. It is currently disabled because of the big yellow numbers.

Hi Zork i have a two mini problem

what is the command that i have to use to move this part of the bars



all of the / commans in the main page dont move that part in the white border and i'm not sure what to move in the config.lua of oUF_Diablo and rActionBarStyler

That frame is below the actionsbard cause i change the size from 0.86 to 0.95

And is if possible to hide the stance bars (arms, fury, defensive)

Edit: Actually forget about the stance bar already found that option still looking for the other one though

Edit 2: zork another "problem" i have right now is that i'm using the combat text include in the roth ui but only show the "victory rush" skill nothing more so i have to active the blizzard combat text but if i disable the xct i lose the custom font that show the damage anyway to remove the victory rush skill from showing up?

Good Afternoon!

I just downloaded this UI and after attempting to play around with the rActionBarStyler, gave up and changed my action bars to Bartender 4. The How-to is probably in a area I had already looked, but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to make sure that the artwork for the action bars shows up. To go a little further indepth, when rActionBarStyler was installed I had the prerequisite 3 action bars show up. Then once I got rid of rActionBarStyler and installed Bartender 4, I only show 1 action bar. After a good long while of searching through the .lua files (I'm still a beginner when it comes to .lua) I figured out where the artwork .lua was and attempted to modifiy it so that all 3 bars should show again. After I /reloaded my UI nothing happened and I undid all my changes. I did think, for a while, that KG Panels were the cause and I turned them off. Still nothing. Could you please help me with this?

Well you explained it pretty well. Not sure if you recognized that the health orb is your clickable player frame. I suggest that you try out Roth UI for some days. Getting used to the orbs takes a bit but you will never want to play without them afterwards.

Hey, I have a pretty big question.

I love the art style of the Roth UI, the attention to detail etc. My problem is I still want to play with the standard UI setup, such as have player and target frames in the same place as standard. I know the frames and the cast bars can be moved around but the player frame of course is the orb.

I realise you can just use the rBBS or whatever its called in order to just reskin the action bar, but when I do this, I lose the reskinned cast bars, I lose the way the floating damage/healing font looks and I lose the functionality of the menubar being at the top and hover to view.

I need to find some sort of inbetween, art style like Roth UI, especially for cast bars and actionbars, but with the layout and functionality more similar to standard UI. Is this possible?

I hope I've been clear enough!
