Intro
Hi there. This is my Diablo 3 themed interface for World of Warcraft. Enjoy.
Zorkified
Since more and more leaked downloads of my interface appear on the internet, please remember: There is only one official download of the Roth UI. And that is this one, on wowinterface.com. All other downloads available are leaked and are not officially supported by me. Only this one is ZORKIFIED!
Installation
  1. Open your World of Warcraft folder. Save your "Interface" and your "Fonts" folder. You may not have the Fonts folder yet, no problem, just ignore it. To do that just copy the folders and put them somewhere else (backup copy).
  2. Now delete your "Interface" and your "Fonts" folder inside your World of Warcraft folder.
  3. Download RothUI and save the zip-file to your Desktop.
  4. Copy the folders included in the zip-file into your World of Warcraft folder. (Not your AddOns, your World of Warcraft folder!) The zip-file includes a "Interface" and a "Fonts" folder.
  5. Start World of Warcraft. If you had it open while copying, restart it now to load the textures.
  6. Join a server and have fun
  7. If you don't like the scaling or something doesn't fit, hit the escape-key while in-game and go to the graphic settings. Now activate the UI-scaling checkbox and move the slider. Hit OK and see what you got. Move it until you like the settings.
    Same goes for the chat. If it doesn't fit just right-click the chat-tab. Unlock the chat and move it around until you feel comfortable.
  8. If the stance/aurabar is in your way just move it. Read all the info pages and the FAQ for more.

Scaling
rBuff, oUF_D3Orbs, rMinimap, jExp, sTooltip, rActionBarStyler can be scaled to your liking. Use UI-scale or use the scaling variable(s) inside the lua files.
Performance Tweaks for Low End Computers
If you are running a low end machine and want to use this UI always make sure your graphic settings are set up correctly and no FPS hungry options are active. Additionally I am using some addons that make use of events that get triggered quite often. You may see an increase in FPS if you disable these addons (in your addons list on your character selection screen):

Tips and Hints
  • Type "/console reloadui" to reload your interface after you changed (and saved) sth. in a *.lua file.
  • Activate the lua error messages in your interface options, otherwise you will get no response if did something wrong.

Health bar frames

Rothar/zork, vielen dank für diesen wunderschönen addon!!

Ich wollte nur wissen, wie man einfach die faerbe der "health bars" aendert...
Ich habe die Aenderung auf FAQ gemacht, aber noch bleiben die bars auf der NPC gleich bis es tot ist wenn die "enemy bars" schaulich sind und aendern sich nie. Das macht es ganz schwer beim pvp

Ist es vielleich möglich, die "nameplates" von freundlichen players blau zu machen?

Noch wollte ich fragen, welche .lua s muss geandert werden, wenn man generell das font vergrößern will...
entschuldigung für mein schlechtes deutsch und ich wünsche dir einen schönen tag noch ^^

Das hatte nur ein Fan mal gebaut. Dafür brauchst du genau die Grafik aber halt in groß und dann musst du davon ein TGA machen mit einem Bildbearbeitungsprogramm.

I am currently using this compelation as well as a bunch of my other addons. and what I'm wondering is if there is a way to have 2 extra sets of orbs that are not on the screen at all times. I want one to pop up (floatable like the rest) whereever I set it whenever I target someone, so a target frame. and then another for ToT. mana and health for each. I'm sure its possible but whenever I tried to do the suggested "make it show player only" it killed everything. So I dont really want to spend hours trying to debug it if there is an easier way..

Question diablo3 iu 3.3.2 update?

there is a update to 3.3.2 and was obligate to replace the interface diablo3
for the original interface folder (previously saved) becuse patch 3.3.2 wont instal, will you update diablo3iu ? it the best iu i downloaded, i hope to continue to use it (iam a old diablo player )

Hab ein kleines Problem. Jedesmal wenn ich neu einlogge hab ich den Achievement Button vom Micromenü da. Wenn ich 1x übers Micromenü drüberfahr, ist der Button weg. Allerdings sobald ich wieder neu einlogge, ist der wieder da.

Bug?Fehlkonfiguration? Any ideas?

Hi there sorry if this has been asked.

I was wondering, how do i set my raid frames so that i can see the "Essence of the Blood Queen" on blood queen lanathel on a player on the raid frames.

Just add the -- if they aren't already present. This will affect every frame handled by D3Orbs (that uses the abbreviated text) which, off the top of my head, should include
  • Health and power orbs
  • Amount of health missing from party members
  • Target health

If you want to make each frame more 'individual' with regard to that, I think have to add additional custom tags (check the bottom of the D3Orbs.lua file to see how exactly they are done) and apply them to the appropriate frames - as regards how they are applied, I am unsure, I'm still in the process of digging around through the code to figure that out For what it's worth, target frame tags (for displaying HP value/percentage) are in the configuration section of oUF_D3Orbs.lua - party health lost, and player health, appear to be somewhere else...

I'm not 100% sure yet on how to correctly punctuate the absolute value (e.g. 30000 -> 30,000) though.

I would like to know this as well.

Also, is there any way to show how much mana (or whatever) my target has? I would like to know the number of how much mana they got instead of just a small line. Preferably just under the mana bar if possible. Think thats about the only thing I don't like about this ui, otherwise I like it. Thanks.

Nameplate cannot be changed atm. The red background color is hardcoded in the image. You would need to edit the image "d3_nameplate_border.tga" and change the color in the nameplate lua for the healthbar to red. This is super-advanced only.

I edited the lua file and changed healthbars from red-to-grey which worked.
However, when I turn enemy name plates on they still do the opposite.
