Since more and more leaked downloads of my interface appear on the internet, please remember: There is only one official download of the Roth UI. And that is this one, on wowinterface.com. All other downloads available are leaked and are not officially supported by me. Only this one is ZORKIFIED!
Installation
- Open your World of Warcraft folder. Save your "Interface" and your "Fonts" folder. You may not have the Fonts folder yet, no problem, just ignore it. To do that just copy the folders and put them somewhere else (backup copy).
- Now delete your "Interface" and your "Fonts" folder inside your World of Warcraft folder.
- Copy the folders included in the zip-file into your World of Warcraft folder. The zip-file includes a "Interface" and a "Fonts" folder. (backup->delete->copy)
- Start World of Warcraft. If you had it open while copying, restart it now to load the textures.
- Go to your character list and in the bottom left you will find a button called "Addons". Click it and activate the checkbox to load older addons.
- Join a server and have fun
- If you don't like the scaling or something doesn't fit, hit the escape-key while in-game and go to the graphic settings. Now activate the UI-scaling checkbox and move the slider. Hit OK and see what you got. Move it until you like the settings.
- If you need additional addons like Omen or something else, no problem just do it.
- Notice: Check your ActionBar settings (read rActionBarStyler info page) if your actionbar looks misplaced.
Installation (Deutsch)
- Öffne deinen World of Warcraft Ordner und erstelle eine Sicherungskopie der Verzeichnisse "Interface" und "Fonts". Es kann sein, dass du noch keinen "Fonts" Ordner hast, dann kannst du den ignorieren.
- Nachdem du die Ordner woanders gesichert hast gehe zurück in dein World of Warcraft Verzeichnis und lösche die beiden Ordner.
- Öffne die ZIP-Datei vom Roth UI und kopiere die zwei enthaltenen Ordner in dein World of Warcraft Verzeichnis.
- Starte World of Warcraft. Falls du es offen hattest starte es neu um die Texturen zu laden.
- In der Charakterliste klicke unten links auf "Addons" und aktiviere die Checkbox, "Ältere Addons laden".
- Das wars, ab auf einen Server und viel Spass mit dem UI.
- Besonders bei kleinen Auflösungen muss die UI Skalierung etwas angepasst werden. Dazu im Spiel die Escape-Taste drücken und dann auf Grafikeinstellungen gehen. Dort den Haken bei UI-Skalierung aktivieren und dann den Regler nach links schieben und bestätigen. Schiebt den einfach solange hin und her bis ihr was passendes gefunden habt.
- Zusätzliche Addons wie Omen und dergleichen können natürlich installiert werden.
Standalone Orbs+Art
For those of you who want to only use the orbs and the bar background I made a standalone mod with different styles to choose from.
Update: You can now use rBottomBarStyler with RothUI, there is a new config in the oUF_D3Orbs.lua.

Important, this mod has _zero_ ingame options. Everything has to be done in the lua code if you want changes. Except for showing ActionBars and UI-Scale.

Scaling
rBuff, oUF_D3Orbs, rMinimap, sTooltip, rActionBarStyler can be scaled to your liking. Use UI-scale or use the scaling variable(s) inside the lua files.
Performance Tweaks for Low End Computers
If you are running a low end machine and want to use this UI always make sure your graphic settings are set up correctly and no FPS hungry options are active. Additionally I am using some addons that make use of events that get triggered quite often. You may see an increase in FPS if you disable these addons (in your addons list on your character selection screen):

Tips and Hints
- Type "/console reloadui" to reload your interface after you changed (and saved) sth. in a *.lua file.
- Activate the lua error messages in your interface options, otherwise you will get no response if did something wrong.

Is there any way to get oUF in Roth to give me a Target of Target's Target frame? I want to use this UI but as a healer who's had a ToTT frame for years, it's kind of a dealbreaker.

hello again this may sound like a dumb question but is there anyway to remove the cast bars? i play a mage and most of the time i play with about 600 lat i found an addon called Quartz thats makes it a lot ezyer to chain one bolt right after the next but atm i get your cast bar and the Quartz cast bar.... can anything be done about this?

for some strange reason, I like the default vehicle frame. I tried to hide the frames when entering vehicle, but i can't make this to work. I only succeed to hide/show the arts when entering/exiting a vehicle.
any hint on where to put my code to hide orbs on vehicle enter/exit?
1: I want to reposition (lower it a bit) the player and target frames. Where do i do that? In what LUA-file?
2: I want to enable text for keybindings. Where do i find these options? I can´t find the lines quoted below the LUA-file. I use a editor with code lines and even searched the code.

Add the pvp flag in the oUF_D3Orbs layout. This is advanced users only. Try asking some folks in the oUF forums about it.
Now, when I am in a party, as an Undead, my face in the party frames looks deformed.
I do not have a screenshot, but the best way to describe it is: it looks as if my face, the one you see in the small square of the party userframes is too far towards the screen. It looks as if the camera is inside the head, so I see how the Undead looks from inside.
This also happens with my Succubus on my Belf Warlock. Is there a way to adjust this, or is it caused by a different addon?
